"I've always had my doubts about governments and militaries. Useless bastards in my opinion. It's a damn good time to be living, got that right. If you consider the endless zombies to be a very minor setback, that is." Gino joked as they entered the farmhouse. Upstairs a growling could be heard - the farmer, having hung himself and shot his family from what the room looked like. A bullet in each of the two children's heads, the wife with the same. The man himself though was hanging from the timber roof, clawing madly for his dead family's bodies. Gino sighed at this as he went upstairs, but didn't fire. "Stupid bastard didn't shoot himself. His own fault, so he can hang forever for all I care." He indifferently muttered, then went into the kitchen to find something to eat.

"Same. The only Guy working for the government i've liked. Is that Jake. You know. Soldier guy. Probably dead" He said., as he sweeped the ground floor for infected. "Fu#king sick!" He shouted at the hanging corpse. "You killed your children?" He asked, pointing at them. This was a sight. That even affect Henry. He didn't like seeing the dead bodies of kids. He went down to the Kitchen. Grabbed some duck tape and headed back up stairs. Using a chair. He reached up to tape over the zombies mouth. He headed back into the Kitchen. "He hangs. But. Quitely. I hear that SOB. He's dead, again." He said. He started opening the cupboards. "Split the supplies. 50/50. Should we get seperated by crazy people. We'll both have something to live off?" He asked. He didn't have no ploy, or con. No agenda. Just thinking like a survivor should. He picked out some canned goods. Handing some to Gino. "Canned is best. Last us longer" He said with a smile. He opened one that said beans. "We'll eat these now. Don't like 'em cold. Best eat stuff while there's power to do so"

Simon & James were nearing the Farm. They could see it. They could also see the odd zombie stumbling around the place. They were like sentries on duty. Set one off. More would come. They needed to take them out quietly. To get to the Farm house without alarm.

"Yeah. Might as well." Gino said in thought, beginning to chew on the beans with a spoon he'd looted. The first hot food he'd eaten in days, and damn did it feel good. "So... Henry. Let's think about this... Where the hell do we go next? We don't know where that huge herd of biters went, so we might run into them again if we take a wrong turn. Should we still head West? The Redhead's idea of reaching the coast seemed alright." Sarah.. I hope she died quickly. So sweet and kind.. For every one of my friends, I'm going to take twenty scalps. Fuck. These. Things. He thought, his cares being removed and replaced with a feral, survival-type of mindset. Vengeance at any cost.

Henry sat down to think about it. "Coast eh? Not sure. Not a fan of the water. More a land man myself. The open road. I don't want to rule it out. I don't want to say yes for certain. I'm assuming we'll look for a boat? Do you know anything about boats? I don't. What if we sink? Engine failure. Just wait to die, out in the open sea?" He asked. He was thinking his own questions over. Weighing up the pros and cons. He didn't want to rush into anything too soon. It might get them killed. "We should probably wait here tonight. At least til the freaks have had a chance to migrate south for the winter"

"I was thinking, actually - and correct me if this sounds stupid: We get a boat, load it with fuel, ammo and supplies to last. We wait just off the coast to exhaust the resources we have, and only then do we make a supply run - and then we just go back to the boat and wait with our renewed supply. It'll keep us safe, easily." Gino explained his idea. It was Sarah's really.

"Hmm, could work I guess. Can we get one of them bigger boats. With a little paddle boat attached. You know. So we can keep the big one at sea. Paddle boat to the shore. Less noise. And grab the stuff. Also, if we do find anybody else out there. They can have a space on our boat. As long as they can pull their weight. Sound good?" He asked smiling.

Simon and James reached the Farmhouse door. It was left ajar. "Stay here. Any zombies pile up. Get in and slam the door. I'll hear." He said, then pulled out his side arm again. He saw a glimpse of people in the kitchen. Not long enough to notice he knew them. But enough to duck for cover. He moved through the living room, connecting to the dining room. Crouching just short of the Kitchen. He recognised the voices. Then the door slammed. Simon stepped out aiming at the doorway. "There was 3 of them. I hit one. They nearly got me. I didn't shoot. They're clawing at the door. We should take them out right? Or they'll alert the rest?"

"Yeah. Sounds good. From now on, no more--" Gino stopped and jumped up, bringing his pistol to aim in the direction of the door that slammed. "Fucking biters... That freaked me out! Henry, cover me. I'll go take it out." He said, getting the switchblade out of his jacket pocket and flicking the blade out at the ready. Little did he know that it was in fact Simon & James bringing some undead their way.

Henry picked up his crowbar and followed behind Gino. Simon ran to the door now. "Up the stairs now. You've alerted the owners" He said. James was halfway up when Simon pulled his gun on the two. "Don't you dare move!?" He shouted as he aimed. Henry reached for his pistol, and was nearly shot. Until Simon realised who they were. He lowered his pistol. "You're both alive? Glad someone else made it" He asked happy.

Gino kept his gun trained on Simon for a while, blinking a few times. Surely he was hallucinating...? That tree actually saved them? He lowered the gun and laughed, "Should've known you would survive, you persistent bastard! Did anyone else get out?!" He asked excitedly - caring less about what Henry would think now.

Simon holstered his pistol as he walked towards them. Henry sighed. "James is with me. James! Come here" He said. James came down from the stairs. "There's a man up there, dead. Duck taped. Think he called himself and his family." James said as he reached the group. "It's a sad sight." He continued. Simon nodded at him. Then turned back to Gino. "Jake is still out there. I want to save him from the group of dead." He held out his radio. "We got contact with him, but not much else we can do for now. We came here for supplies. Maybe find a truck or tractor so Jake can jump into the back. I'm saving him. Then we're going to find out what happened to Sarah and Zoey"
