Gino held the pack of cigarettes out to Henry, taking a long drag on his own. Sighing, he looked at his partner with an empty expression. "I'm seriously considerin' it. We hang around these lot, and we're gonna be in danger. Besides, in a smaller group they might find it easier to survive as well." He mused. "...You think we should be on our way in the morning?"

Joseph nodded, laughing quietly before moving off to the altar.

Sarah rested on James, trying to catch some sleep. "No nightmares tonight.." She whispered, eyes closed and smiling.

Henry took it and light it with the few remaining matches he had left. "Cheers" He said, as he let out a sigh of relief. "You serious? About bloody time. Yeah. Leave tomorrow morning. These folks will be the death of you and I if we stay. Got it?" He said. He took a seat on one of the steps leading to the church.

"Thankyou. I appreciate this. I wish I could return the favour some how" Simon said smiling to the priest. They walked off. James & Sarah were having a moment. Henry & Gino were out. Who knows where Jake took Zoey to explore. Simon was tired to go round the group up. He took a seat on a pew. Slowly drifting off to sleep.

James ran his hand through her hair as she drifted off. "No more at all" He whispered softly to her. "I'm here now" He continued in the same voice. He was struggling to keep his eyes open. Fighting against the sleep. He eventually fell to it. And nodded off.

"It's not that I want to leave them, it's that we're all going to have a better chance at survival with less numbers around. I just hope they find better luck with two less to care for." Gino said, stubbing the cigarette out on the step beside him. "We're going to head South instead. Give 'em a fair chance at executing our original plan. They have young people with them, they deserve the safer option. I couldn't handle peace anyway... Fair enough?" He said, throwing a smirk Henry's way. Danger was his middle name in the old world... Hell, it could be exciting, maybe even fun.

"We can go anywhere. We'll survive in the worst places. I'm killing every mother ferking biter I come across. Idiots in these horror films. Leave too many. They follow you know. I'm marking out a place we can call our own. A place without rules. Free from idiots." Henry said smiling. He liked the idea behind town 'Hope'. He wanted to start something similar.

"Agreed. We re-kill every bastard we come across. And as for a nice little safe haven for the likes of us, I'd say we cross the border into Mexico. See if this virus has hit the rest of the world just as hard." Gino said, standing up and walking back up the steps into the church. "In the morning, pack your gear. I'll explain to Simon what we're doing." He said, going inside and sleeping in one corner of the church.

"Mexico it is" Henry said smiling. "We don't have to explain ourselves. We want to survive, don't we?" He asked. Walking into the Church. He layed across a Pew. Henry looked around the church. Sleeping. He thought he would do the same. He felt comfortable as a pew could get, and felt safe enough to actually sleep. With that. He fell asleep within a few minutes.

It was 7AM, on Day Six. Nearly a week ago, the world fell into chaos. In less than a week, the entire USA had fallen. Too little of the National Guard survived the initial outbreak to make much a difference. The Government was destroyed. Chain of command was non-existent. The survivors were on their own. For some, it would be perfect - a world with no rules. For others - it would become a dangerous world, where meeting another group of survivors could end in bloodshed.

Gino shook Henry's shoulder as he threw the double barrelled shotgun over his own shoulder. "We gotta be movin'. The monk gave us the gun and 8 shells for the road." He said quietly, as the others began to wake up.

Sarah awakened in James' arms and smiled. She sat up and looked around, noticing Jake & Zoey asleep at the bottom of the ladder to the bell tower. At this, she laughed quietly to herself.

Henry jumped up. Thinking something was wrong at first. He let out a sigh of relief as it was only Gino. "Let's get the hell out of here. Should we head back to that town. Hope or what ever they called it. The cars are back there. That could give us a good head start to Mexico?" He asked. He checked his pistol. Not alot of ammo left.

James awoke and smiled to Sarah. "I like this part the most" He whispered, still tired. "Waking up to you. It's amazing" He said smiling at her.

Simon had already awoken a little earlier. He was used to the early morning shifts on the streets. He decided to do a patrol around the church. He couldn't leave the town monks in immediate danger. He came back in. "Father. Before we go. I see the wall to the grave yard and surrounding the church. Could be fixed up a little. We can place objects and such. It helps to slow them down at least"

"Noted. We're in the middle of nowhere, but we would do well to fix that up." Joseph agreed. He didn't seem to feel anything towards the group's planned leaving. Besides, he did offer them a home here, and they declined. Their choice was their choice after all.

"Yeah. That'd be a good idea." Gino approached Simon and tapped his shoulder twice. "I gotta talk to you about somethin'."

Sarah turned a little red in the cheeks, giving a happily embarrassed look to James. "Hehe, we're going to be on the long road again. I really need to find a shoe shop some time..." She mentioned, looking down at the formal shoes that she wore to school. Running in them wasn't easy to say the least, they kept slipping off.

Jake got to his feet, leaving Zoey soundly asleep. He went outside and watched the area around the church with his scope.

Simon nodded to the father. The offer was there. He wanted to help them, to return the favour. "Morning Gino" He said, turning to the two taps. Simon walked over to a pew. He sat down. "What is it? Something happen?" He asked, turning to look at the group. They seemed fine to him.

James smiled. He landed a quick kiss on her cheeks. "We'll find one. I'll find you only the best shoes. Okay? That's a promise" He said smiling again.
