The smoking scrap heap which they called a crime scene had been fairly productive for Lev. He had managed to pocket some of the parts which lay scattered across the what used to be the main street before the soldiers had their way with it.Not only this but he only had to flash a section 11 badge and he could get a statement from anyone he wanted. After quite a lot of looking around he had managed to track the lead which he had heard rumors about gun imports from and follow up on it. The gun supplier had not been willing to open up when asked politely, predictably, so Lev had knocked him out using the old fashioned chemicals on a piece of handkerchief and dragged him back to the hideout. Lev had been extremely thorough in his interrogation. Being a member of section 11 would not help him if they caught wind of what he had done to that unfortunate man.
His methods had yielded results though. The man had told him that it was Mitsuo corp. who had ordered the guns. Of course Lev informed his higher-ups in section 11, but needless to say, as he could bring up no hard evidence (he couldn't exactly tell them that he tortured it out of a back street gun-smuggler), they treated it as a working hypothesis. It did fit almost too perfectly though, and Lev knew that they would follow up on this lead.
His assumption was proved right when he was ordered onto a clandestine task force who would have the role of Mitsuo corp. It sounded dangerous, and Lev was not normally at his best in a team, but he didn't really have a choice. All he could do was wait for more orders from the newly formed task force.
