Emissary to Mandar [Warhammer 40,000 Tau RP]

    The Tau.
Warriors, Poets, Workers, Emissaries and Leaders of the Tau Empire. Pilgrims of the Greater Good and defenders of their philosophy, the Tau wander through a small empire but wield the advantage in technology that the Adeptus Mechanicus wish they could examine and pick apart.

However, Your people are not alone in their struggle for the Greater good and their expansion into the Galaxy. No, Along side your superior tech to the Imperium of Man, You walk along the scorched earth and wide galaxy with a grand arrangement of species who have declared their loyalty to your own people. Your people strike with the Kroot, Niccaran, Vespid and Gue'vesa.
You may walk the path of the traitor as the Gue'vesa for you are human who have come to the side of the Tau Empire, the path of the Vespid or Kroot who owe their very lives to the Tau or the Niccaran who are the only psykers of the Tau empire.

But your lords, The Ethereal Caste, see that to survive and expand that they must negotiate long before they set to war. The Greater Good. Your Philosophy, Your way of life. You may see the God-emperor in your death as the Gue'vesa do or simply cease to be as the Tau do but your lords see that today a Emissary be escorted to convert a new planet to the Empire.

The Fire Caste has called for a bodyguard and your sergeant is gue'vesa. You will escort him down to the Governer's Palace.
Will He be happy to join or reluctant? Will he call for the Imperium to save him or will quieten down and declare his loyalty to the Tau?

Either way, The Water caste is sending you and your team down.

    Who will you be?
    Kroot? Gue'vesa? Tau Fire-warrior? Tau Path-finder?

Create your CS and expect Crisis Suits but be ready to earn them.

If you want to be something else..... Post the CS and Ill examine it.

    Name: Shas’ui Dal’yth Ko’vash

    Race: Tau, Fire Caste

    Description:

Ko’vash is fairly tall for a Tau, through still a bit below average when compared to the many humans he has encountered throughout his military career. He has a slim build for a Fire Caste, though it is nothing in comparison to a Tau of the Water Caste or the extremes of the Air Caste. Rather than building up muscle for hard fights, as a Pathfinder he has trained all his life for the long-haul endurance fights. He has the emblem of his home sept of Dal’yth and current squad painted onto his shoulder-pads and gun, a constant reminder of who he is fighting for. Ko’vash has a light gray battle suit with any identifying markings and secondary colours in a faded purple.

    Class: Path-finder

    Background:

Ko’vash was born on the planet Dal’yth, with its growing population after the first sphere of expansion in line with the Etherals plans for the budding empire. He joined the military in accordance with his Caste and performed adequately throughout his training. Oddly enough his skills for survival and endurance feats of patience were not made apparent until he was on the battlefield, fighting in the name of the Tau Empire. Ko’vash was too young to actually engage the Imperium forces in anything other than basic harassment until it was clear that many small squads had been left to their own devices. Here Ko’vash faced his first battle here, facing off alongside his brothers in combat against an entrenched force of Humans. Primarily after the final mopping up, he was simply tasked to watch over the Imperium of Man as they withdrew.

[Does this line up with your plan for the timeline for this RP?]

He is well suited to long waits, flat on the ground in a high position waiting for the best shot to align itself. He was also found skilled in stealthily scouting past enemy lines and relaying information on their positions and movements. Ko’vash has worked in various team environments so far in his career, and though he prefers the solo or small team scouting missions, this simple protection mission is a nice way to take a break from more monotonous jobs.

    Weapon/Equipment:
    Rail Rifle
    Camo-cloak

    Personality:

Ko’vash embraces the solitude his usual missions bring to fight an endless mental debate in his mind. His unswerving belief in the ‘greater good’ devised by the Etheral Caste, against the seemingly uncountable masses of other intelligent species who simply did not seem to follow it nor have anyone to take its place. It is for this reason that Ko’vash enjoys working with other species. He is interested in their culture and different ways of acting/thinking. Countless hours of staring down at camps and teams of enemies of the Tau Empire would have been torture if not for this keen interest. Further study of their behaviour and ways could only lead to them serving the greater good in a more efficient manner. Ko’vash looks on the 4000 year history of the Tau Empire since unification with great pride, seeing the incredibly fast-paced rise under the guidance of the Etherals as sure-fire proof of the purpose of the Tau to bring peace to all species of the galaxy. Ko’vash looks forward to being exposed to the new culture of Mandar in this mission, and to share the philosophies of the ‘greater good’ with the unfortunate masses. He is slightly nervous however, wishing deeply that the tragedies of the loss of human and Tau life in the Damocles Crusade can be avoided at any cost. A youth of exposure to the unusually high number of Water Caste on his home world of Dal’yth has allowed him to soak up some of the more tactful manners he would otherwise have missed. Though he will likely leave the actual talking to outsiders to the Water Caste, as he has been trained to do.

    Name: Kessar Lorton
    Race: Human
Description: Being a saved Necron, most of his jaw is made of metal, as well as his right arm and his left knee. He also wears standard Tau armour.
    Class: Gue'vesa
Background: born on Cadia, he grew up and joined the Imperial Guard like most others, he fought for the Emperor on many worlds, it was on Aspen 2 that he first fought against the Necrons, he was mortally wounded in battle, yet still alive when he was found by the Necron Lord, he smelled the stench of life, the Necron Lord stabbed him in the chest, hard, yet still he clung to life, the Necron Lord descided that it wanted this one as its own personal pariah, it took his corpse back to the great underground refineries, where his entire being was encased in Necronite alloy, transforming him into one of them, he fought on many worlds, drowning out the stench of life.

but when they attempted to attack a Tau base, his was destroyed, as he lay battered and broken, he was found again by Tau scientists, who were performing experiments in order to return the Necrons to what they once were, he was their first living test. He was transformed back into flesh and blood, however, his form wasn't completely restored, most of his right arm and Left knee remained metal. He wanted to return to the Imperium to offer his undying loyalty to the Emperor, but he knew that he had become a Heratic, not through his own choice, but it had still happened. He was forced to accept that he would now have to work for Aliens... He was ashamed... "Even in death, we still serve." that was drilled into his head from day one, but if he died here... That would serve nothing, he hated the Tau, the Necrons, he wasn't even allowed his own death, that he might still serve in. He now, begrudgingly, serves the Tau... But only because of the uneasy alliance between the Tau and the Imperium, his one hope is that he is sent to work with the Imperium in a joint effort against one of the Imperiums enemies, like the Tyranids, and that he may die in battle, fighting in the name of the emperor.
    Weapons: Warscyth
    Equipment: Camo-cloak
Personality: Though totally loyal to the Emperor, he is no longer able to serve his emperor directly, as such, he is serving the Immortal God Emperor from the shadows. he has a strong opposition to the Space Marines, though he respects them as fellow Servents of the Immortal God Emperor, he see's them as power-armoured biggots who think that because they are bigger, that automatically make them better than the Imperial Guard, who are superior in Kessars books due to them being weaker, yet able too perform the same job.

Matt.... I'm going to say.... approved, I find the idea interesting because it ties into the fact that the Tau are technologically superior and the necron dont really get all that much love in lore...

I'm going to call this approved with hesitation since you are using a Pariah war-scythe that serves as both a melee weapon and a guass gun.
