About damn time they put a fresh spin on things. I'm extremely interested in this and then I remember I'm 19 years old and it horrifies me. I PAY BILLS but I want to play with the stag Pokemon and call him James Potter.
Yep. That's right. Generation 6.

what
I'm excited. Not gonna lie.
A fresh spin, consisting of a graphical update but no significant gameplay changes. Not sure if I'd say that to be a fresh spin.
As I have never been a pokemon player, these games seem to me to be almost as bad as CoD. Bring out a new one every few years, add some pokemon. Done.
Also, why the fuck do they release TWO games every time? It's just wrong. Nintendo has lost it's appeal to me as they stopped bringing out new IP's.
With the risk of making everyone go completely berserk: There should be no more pokemon games. It's finished.
The appeal is the fact that it's pokemon, just the same as CoD. You think (intelligent) Call of duty players ever honestly think they're getting a completely new game? No. Of course not. No (intelligent, again) pokemon player ever considered their new generation to be some new gameplay miles away from the last; they don't want that. Look at sales for the side pokemon games and you'll see that they're significantly lower than the standard Pokemon [Insert Jewel or Color Here] games like X&Y. People like these games, they want to play them, and they enjoy new pokemon and characters. One of the coolest things to me is seeing a new set of Gym Leaders and Elite Four. I love pokemon's character designs, and I like to see new games. It's likely heavily influenced by the nostalgia factor. We grew up with these and they're something we never cease to enjoy.
