Pokemon X and Y

A fresh spin, consisting of a graphical update but no significant gameplay changes. Not sure if I'd say that to be a fresh spin.
As I have never been a pokemon player, these games seem to me to be almost as bad as CoD. Bring out a new one every few years, add some pokemon. Done.
Also, why the fuck do they release TWO games every time? It's just wrong. Nintendo has lost it's appeal to me as they stopped bringing out new IP's.
With the risk of making everyone go completely berserk: There should be no more pokemon games. It's finished.

Also they release two games every time just because. Nintendo's being doing that forever (Red & Blue were already a couple) because people enjoy the illusion of choice or something. Nobody ever buys both versions anyway so who cares?

It's likely heavily influenced by the nostalgia factor. We grew up with these and they're something we never cease to enjoy.

So, it's like drugs then? If you grow up with it, you'll never break the habit? That explains why I still have the games.

Anyways, I personally, have no problem with this, even though I haven't quite gone through Pokemon B/W, and I rather Loathe the current metagame. It'll be interesting for sure.
