You do know its effects are reversible, right? XD Well all except the corrupted Hall of Fame files, which really shouldn't effect the rest of the game anyway.

But yeah you can totally fix the scrambled graphics.

Funny how many people freak out and reset their files right away when there's a super easy way to get the graphics back to normal. And Missingno can be released just like any other Pokemon once all that's over, too.

And then you can keep all those rare candies/master balls you duplicated without any bad side effects!
