Setting

Everyone thought that nothing would happen. Surely the supposed "End of the World" was a load of crock. But something did happen on that day, December 21, 2012. There was a very rare alignment among the galaxies, one that supposedly wouldn't happen again for tens of thousands of years. That alignment caused an eclipse that changed the world forever. All super powers were erased from existence. Once powerful heroes now forced to walk among the average people, no having super powers with which to battle evil. Even those on the side of evil also lost their power. The devout immediately credited the mysterious event as an act of God, believing that he grew tired of his world constantly being inhabited or threatened by such powerful beings as super heroes. Only the few who fought evil with no powers remained able to fight, but of course they are only human, eventually aging and dying like any other human does in time. The Teen Titans, once a renowned team of teenaged heroes, were not exempt from the events of the eclipse, and most of their members were made powerless. Months turned into years, years into decades, and as the world sees the dawn of the year 2055, there have been no superheroes since 2012. But, just like the eclipse of 2012, something is about to change the world once again, something that will bring about a new generation of heroes. Whether the change is for the better or worse, remains to be seen.

Appearance:

He looks very human. However, his anatomy is different, for starters, the Ryxian race has two hearts and no liver or Kidneys. They have denser muscles.
While using his speed , his iris turns into a color that could only be akin to embers.

He's 173 CM Tall, and weights about 90 KG, with a slender build.

Armored Suit.
Enhanced HUD in his facialwear.

Powers:
HemoKinesis: Because of his Ryxian genes, Ryan has superhuman blood cells. Able to carry thousands of times the oxygen to his muscles. Also, because of his double-set of hearts, he produces more blood than a human would, as his body consists of over 9 liter blood, in comparassion to the 5 liters in a human's body. Roxians also has Super-Human metabolism, allowing for faster healing of wounds.

Super Speed: His people comes from a planet that was first touched by the speed-force. Gifting all of their race genetical Super-Speed.
Ryan's current roof in terms of top speed is twice that of sound. However, to reach that, he needs time to accelerate. His casual Speed is about 900 KM/H. In terms of arms, and short term movement, he can move about fifteen times as fast as a human.
However, unlike most of the human speedspters, Ryxians do get hurt, if moving at high enough speeds.

Super Strength: The Ryxian's strength is a side product of their HemoKinesis, and their connection to the speed force. Unlike most other species with the same power, Ryxian's strength is mostly internal. Keeping their organs intact, and making it near impossible to dislocate limbs and the likes. However, in raw power, it's about 75% Stronger than your average human male of his age and build.


Strengths:
His powers, obviously. His alien anatomy makes it harder to fight him, as he doesn't have the same weak-spots as a human.

Brave, never quits.

Weaknesses:
Very hard to medically treat.
Hard to keep his alien heritage secret.
His powers own drawbacks.

Raised in Lawrence, Kansas. His parents were Ryxian war-refugees, whom had been depowered years ago, here on planet earth. However, their son, Ryan was born with all of the abilities they had lost, if anything, he might've even had greater prowess than they had. He was raised as a human to the outside world, but at home, he was raised as a Ryxian male.
His father and mother taught him well in the traditions and cultural things.

He grew up pretty regularly, having to skip all forms of physical check-ups in school, as the family said they had a private physician. His powers began to really develoup at the age of 15, and his connection with the speed-force is just now picking up.

Appearance:

Gear: The Red X suit is armed with tools and functions designed for stealth and combat. It can launch a red, elastic substance from the palms that is strong enough to restrain even large animals like bears from moving freely and is also apparently able to act as an explosive if the need arises. The same substance can also apparently harden into very strong X-themed weapons for melee or even throwing attacks. The mask is equipped with HUD functionality and can even switch between various styles of visors for normal, night, and infrared vision. The suit's utility belt is equipped with a light-bending cloaking device allowing the wearer to blend into their surroundings, effectively rendering them invisible to the naked eye. The device can also shield the suit from radar and thermal detectors. Built-in communication tools allows for constant comm-link functions without the need for carrying external devices. A newly added feature is the ability to sync the HUD with computers via private Wi-Fi connection, allowing X to access the Titan's main computer even from out in the field.

Powers: None

Strengths: Cloaking functions make X very difficult to see or detect by technology. The elastic substance is very strong, having once held a Tamaranean's super strength at bay for at least a minute or two before they finally broke free.
Weaknesses: The suit is powered by a rare chemical element called Xynothium. Without it, the suit's utility belt cannot function, and the chemical itself is increasingly harder to find in recent years.

Skills: Red X seems to have the skill of a trained assassin. He knows how to remain silent, keeping his footsteps and breaths steady and soft to avoid being heard, with the suit's cloaking functions only adding to his ability to remain unseen. He's also in peak physical condition, able to fairly easily defeat martial art black belts, some of them twice his age or size. For some reason, he also has seemingly been taught the finer methods of torture and interrogation, though where such skills and knowledge originally came from is something he refuses to talk about.

Personality: Reclusive, Cold, but also Compassionate

Background:
A somewhat touchy subject for Daniel, so much of it remains a mystery. The most he'll say is that he had it a bit rough as a kid, and such experience is what toughened him up into the person he is now. As for where or how he obtained the Red X suit, he claims to have simply found it stored inside the old Titan's Tower and decided to use it for his own. If further questioned, he simply refuses to talk about it.

Hopefully the modifications will work better XD I basically greatly increased his limitations on 'how fast' and how often he can afford to reconstruct himself, vastly reduced the ammount of energy he contains and such, and made him considerably more 'vulnerable' as well as various other changes.

Appearance:
He's about 5'6" in normal human shape, but is about 8'3" in his 'actual' form, as well as weighing quite a bit [that's pure fluid weight there after-all].

As you can expect from his powers, he's no longer 'human' XD but his new 'true' appearance will be under powers.

Gear: Not much would be considered 'compatible', however he would not be adverse to working with someone of a technological specialty to create something to reulate the danger posed by his 'core', or some 'goo-proof' tools he could use in a fight.

Powers:

I altered his powers considerably, though keeping the same theme I originally intended, this version basically makes him much less 'watery' in terms of powers, making him more 'solid' than originally imagined, though his body can still be manipulated in numerous ways, it takes longer and more energy to do so, and more accurately explains how he is capable of utilizing the energy in his core. Hopefully this set up will be far more acceptable. ^.^


Fire Elemental Core: His actual 'body' is a spherical object about the size of a basketball containing vast ammounts of energy and capable of producing immense heat when exposed. This core also can absorb various types of energy and heat from other sources, such as sun-light, fire, weaker energy weapons [stronger ones can't be compensated for properly.], and so on. When it absorbs too much energy to contain it will expand to properly hold the energy, and likewise when a lot of energy is 'released' the core will 'lose' mass.



Liquid Body Mass: His 'visible' body is made up of a black Liquid like substance, it behaves somewhat like melted rubber but bears noticeable magnetically responsive qualities. The normal state of his body is a semi solid rubber like feeling, it would be somewhat sticky, but would not respond completely as something made of water might. As such it can mitigate various heat and electrically based threats fairly easily, as well as physical threats, though sufficient levels of force and magnetic effects will still break through and explosives are highly likely to 'splash' him about.




Energy Control:

He can use the energy contained in his core in a number of ways, a few examples below, but not completely limited to those listed, however more uses will need to be learned IC through practice and experience.

1. Controlled Exposure: Through manipulating the fluid making up his 'containment', he can expose the core within himself, and form a tunnel of sorts through which the energy will compress and be released, causing effects ranging from a simple blast of force and heat, to combusting and launching a gout of flame from the hole in question. The more exposed the core is within him the more energy that goes into the attack and the faster it is used up.


2. Electrical Release: Currently his most recent discovery and still being tested for how to use properly, but by exposing his core in a similar manner to number 1 and circulating the releasing energy within himself into a large enough collection he can cause it's release to bear enough energy in a single quick strike to release a lightning bolt. Doing so however takes a large ammount of energy and a mild charge up period.


3. Containment fluid Production: An important function of his core is it's ability to produce and control the containing liquid body mass that keeps his core from burning things around him. The larger the core, the greater the 'base fluid level' is, or more simplified, the larger he will appear unless purposely compacting himself due to the level of fluid needed to fully contain the heat he produces. He can reconstruct damage to his fluid body by expending energy to create more, as well as expending energy to forcibly create more to use for attacks and such.


4. Minor Magnetic Effect: Due to the current level of energy he contains this only affects things touching him, but his 'magnetic field' is used to shape and properly contain the fluid that makes his visible 'body', and can be used to attach metallic things to or within his body or to affect magnetically vulnerable things with touch. This is effect is easily over powered however, as well as causing him to be vulnerable to stronger magnetic forces, in the sense that it will forcibly destabilize and even tear apart the magnetically responsive fluid part of his body.

Strengths: Mild Martial Arts Skill [Mainly only usable in Human form though]. Variable Defenses [can also act against him], 'Core' Body [which is small], mild magnetic control mainly pertaining to his body or things that are touched, and the ability to manipulate the fluid nature of his body and core in any sort of shape, as well as to filter the destructive power of his core in a more controlled fashion than direct exposure. Immunity to fire [He's 'full' of fire already, so to speak]


Weaknesses: Some weaknesses are unknown [mainly because I'm still imagining some more for him XD], Over-powering Magnetic Forces, Inexperience, Incredible cold [though he can counter-act it given time] His fluid body is actually very easily 'damaged' unless solidified in a defensive manner.


Skills: Can display somewhat 'amazing' acrobatics and martial arts skill in human form, but mainly is most dangerous in fluid form, though He doesn't have as much experience as would be best, his skills with his powers are somewhat lacking and need some learning to fully utilize them.

Understatement of the year. Looking over the rather large list of potential powers, you've made a character that could potentially outdo Superman in OP'ness. If this were a full blown Justice League complete with adult characters with years of experience under their belt, it might work. After all, in such a time frame, my own character would have no doubt greatly expanded his own abilities through arduous practice and sheer experience. Sadly, this is not the case. I read through the powers and all I saw was "Shapeshifter made of liquid which technically makes them indestructible and impervious to all attacks be it blunt force, heat or even explosives. They can get into any place due to slipping through cracks, can modify their appearance to mimic anyone and even give himself super strength, super speed and durability (though with the Fluid body crap, who the hell needs it?). Oh yeah, and they also absorb all radiation until they pop like a balloon and DESTROY THE FRICKIN' EARTH." Again, the idea might work in a different kind of setting such as Justice League or Watchmen (where OP gods like Superman and Doctor Manhattan run rampant). But here? I'm afraid not.

It was looking decent until controlling electricity somehow granted them the power to shoot Hadoken waves and apparently telekinetically move things around. Unfortunately it's another case of trying to pack too much onto one character. Look, I know Superman is a veritable Swiss Army Knife of superpowers that make no goddamn sense but that doesn't mean everyone should be like that. There really needs to be an underlying theme that gives the presence of multiple powers a sense of logic rather than seeming to be randomly slapped together with no rhyme or reason. Imagine a sleek new car suddenly having a hundred random stickers just plastered all over it. It becomes ugly to look at. The same thing is applied here. A character with dozens of abilities crammed into them just makes them aesthetically ugly in an abstract sense.
