I. Introduction
Welcome to Elkwood Falls, Alaska a town where even the cats and dogs play together with no quarrel. Started back in the late 1900's as a small fishing town, Elkwood Falls has undergone much change, from its people who keep its street alive an safe to the very men an woman who live in its peaceful houses. Small in stature but rich with gentle people and loving and caring neighbors Elkwood Falls is the ideal location to raise a family. As rich with its people Elkwood Falls is also rich with history, one such piece being that Elkwood Falls was a major part and contributor in the gold rush. Trusted with the precious ores for storage, Elkwoods nick name Golden Halls is rightly earned and claimed. Elkwoods population is 1000 as of last year and is growing more and more every day, people packing into it's cozy neighborhoods. Elkwood has all the basic necessities that should be had all on its one Main street. Such as if you need a shave visit the Keller mans Barber shop. If your looking for food to stock up look no further then the General Store. Looking to do some building or remodeling then don't miss the hardware store. No need to worry about getting lost there is only one road in and out and that is Main Street, all other roads circle about and put you right back on Main for easy living and never having to take four turns and getting lost. An with some of the best trained Police Force around Elkwood offers ample protection. Come now to Elkwood America's most peaceful town, an start life anew where you will not be judged.
II. General Description of Roleplay
Hello again and welcome to the Elkwood Falls Out of Character thread. This portion is meant to give you a more in depth look at the role play your going to be joining if you wish to do so. Elkwood Falls is a small peaceful town at the lower half of Alaska. It has about a population of one thousand and it is a rather close knit town, you scratch my back ill scratch your for sure kind of place. Everyone is nice and gentle and everyone cares about everyone. However like most small towns that are peaceful have a rather nasty secret that most never know about, a few who do never tell. Elkwood falls like all Alaskan towns endures what is described as long days of night ranging from 30 to 60 days where there is no light just darkness. Elkwood in this respect has for 100 years been plagued by mysterious disappearance with in this time frame. No one knows why or where these people go, and no bodies are ever recovered, over the years many several people has disappeared under these circumstance. Not a trace of them i left to be found besides their belongings. No one knows exactly how or why this happens but no one talks about it either. In this Roleplay you will be one of the towns folk of Elkwood, your role can be whatever you like, working at a store on Main, one of the various officials of the EFPD (Elkwood Falls Police Department). You can even be one of the many good citizens who live in Elkwood. This time of the year many citizens of Elkwood Falls take flight to visit family, mostly because of the long days of night. Leaving about half the population of Elkwood, you will be one such person who stays. Without spilling any of the secrets of the Role play I hope this explains adequately your roles you will play in the Elkwood Roleplay.
III. Rules
1. No God-Modding or controlling other characters without express permission.
2. Sexual Content romance is possible in this story as stated above, kissing an such is fine but beyond that if you want to continue do it in PM.
3. I do not wish to see superman or wonder woman you are human you can be hurt and you don't heal at the drop of a dime.
4. IC aruging A-OK OOC arguing not ok. If you have a problem with someone try to resolve it through PM otherwise ill kick you both.
5. Be respectful of all Roleplayers and my rules I am not a strict person but if you blatantly break my rules or bother other people I will warn you then kick you if you don't comply.
6. If you choose to be part of the police force note that we do not have a large cache of weapons, there is a total of three shot gun and a small cache of handguns so only the Sheriff, Deputy and one other ranking officer will have a shot gun.
7. Contribute to the Role play this is high end casual meaning I wanna see at least paragraph or two a post with 4 to 5 sentences each, just put some detail into your posts an there is no problem.
8. Place "Kino De Toten" at the end of your character sheet so I know you read the rules.
9. Have fun, be creative, an let your mind free, this roleplay is for everyone so don't be shy to add plot twists just be sure to run them by me if they go off topic of the roleplay.

- Normal Attire: Normal daily attire a pair of scuffed up brown steel tipped work boots. A pair of faded blue jeans with pads in the knee's. White t'shirt unerneath a button down uniform shirt. Brown heavy fur lined Sheriffs jacket with badge on the right side. A dark brown leather stetson on his head, a pair of aviator sunglasses. Leather belt black with steel buckle.

Personality: Has a generally an by nature nice and inviting personality, loves to joke around with the many town folk or even stranger passing through. A fair and honest out look on life he is a trust worthy official and friend to all. Is the kind of guy you want around when your at your lowest. He can be strict when it comes to emergency situations, but he is fair an level headed to boot. He does not crack under pressure and speaks his min if the opportunity is called for it. He is not one to sit around and watch wrong be done, he will step in immediately if he suspects harm will come to a fellow citizen. Loved by many and hated by none he knows of he is a honorable man who keeps his word and keep his town safe from those that would bring harm.
Job: Sheriff of the EFPD
Biography: Tom's life is in reality sort of a mystery to the people of Elkwood, not that many ask or like to pry either way. What is roughly known about Tom is that he was born and raised in Chicago. Around his 18th birthday he joined the Army where he spent a lot of his younger days until he was discharged for wounds sustained to the shoulders and the thigh. After he went through strenuous rehabilitation At the age of thirty Tom became a cop in Chicago where he stayed five years on the force. Under trying circumstances that only a few knew of Tom left the Chicago PD and went well into the north west where he found himself moving into the quaint town of Elkwood. Becoming a lawman of the town Tom quickly found himself becoming the Sheriff in three shorts years after the mysterious disappearance of the Sheriff before him. Tom has been the Sheriff of Elkwood for over 12 years now. Other details of his life are personal and he does not choose to speak of them.
