There are parts of these that I agree with, and others that I do not.

For example, transcendentalism holds that organised groups seriously fuck with one's ability to be a 'good' person. I can agree with that entirely. It's been shown time and time again that when people let go of themselves as individuals and get a shitty mob mentality, you're gonna have a bad time. However, I don't really believe in 'good' or 'evil' at all. Morality seems to me too malleable to even exist as a concrete rulebook. So no, I can't agree that people are inherently good, I'm going to have to side with existentialism that individuals are allotted these tags of 'good' or 'evil' based upon the actions they choose. Continuing with existentialism, I'm 100% on board with the individual being judged as just that, a person.

Existentialism is primarily about how nothing has any inherent meaning, and the things we perceive as having meaning are just lies we tell ourselves to make ourselves feel better about living in a universe that neither cares for or hates us.
