Ahh okay. Still interested, though. Seems pretty cool.

Light-Axe.... *thinks* Well, one could bend a lightsaber blade into the required shape for an axe. The drawback to that, however, is that the "cheek" of the axe would be very vulnerable to blaster fire or being poked with a lightsaber.

This presents a weakness that does not exist in a normal lightsaber prompting one to ask why they'd ever want such a thing.

The way we started the first one was with the death of a Jedi. Word got around of rogue Jedi scattered throughout the galaxy, the Order's job was to seek these rogues and "fix them" (that's the best I can come up with right now). The idea was that there would be fights between these rogues and the Jedi from the Order, hence the name Aggressive Negotiations. But it later turned with a rogue/Sith warning the Order of an even bigger threat. I actually liked where it was going.

The last one, the action started when news broke that the Republic was broke. Mon Calamari was invaded by Crusade's army, some mean tiger like creatures wreaked havoc on the Jedi Temple (awesome fight), then some talks on Mandalore, and that's where it ended I believe.

So how and where would be a good place to start? We can do something new.

I am interested, but wary. I have played in RPs on this forum before, and in a single hour have been utterly surpassed. I don't like having to play a lot of catch-up. Will this topic have at least some degree of turn-based role playing (that is, each player at least gets a turn in a given round)? I promise that if I plan to be gone for any length of time, I will let you know and do my best to leave my post open to let the game continue if I plan to be gone for a while.

I do work 3-4 days a week, 6 hours a day. I have errands I run from time to time, bills to pay. I don't sit on my computer all day every day anymore (once, I used to). So, I would really love a chance to play Star Wars again (it's been ages since I last had a good Star Wars RP), but I don't want to get involved in something that leaves me reading through pages worth of replies every single day (unless, that is, I've been active the entire time).

Is there any guarantee of this?

For the time that this RP has been played, there have been times when there have been several postings within a small amount of time. And no, it hasn't worked where there's a posting cycle where when you post, you post again once everybody does. That being said, this does at times tend to get pretty fast-paced.

I see. Well, still with a wary heart, I say I'm in for now. I desperately want to play a good Star Wars RP, or any RP right now. So, we'll see how this goes. If it becomes too terribly overwhelming, I'll calmly and casually remove my character IC and leave the topic.

I will say this: When it gets going fast, it's mainly because two characters are exchanging dialogue. And the posts aren't usually that long. And when it does speed up, it's followed by a sort of slow-down. But I'm always there to give those who may have missed out a brief summary on what they've missed. Believe me, I've had to explain the story to new players that came in to the RP months after it started.

And I'm also working too, so I don't have as much free time like I used to.

I think that might be manageable. I do question: do we have limits on the number of characters? I can never decide on whether to play a good girl or a bad girl. If possible, I'd love to play one of each. I promise I will maximize my characters at 2. If you'd prefer me to play only one character, I think I'll be forced to play Sith.

I always say that you can play as many characters as you'd like. You can play two or you can play 100, The only thing I ask of with multiple characters is that you don't lose track of them. Also that they don't slow the story down. For example: if one character of yours is doing something with another person's character, I don't want you to stop the interaction or forget about it because you have other characters to tend to.
