    Arkham Asylum Reboot

    -Ooc-

"Would someone turn off that damned waterspout?!"
Joker yelled, crawling out of his bed. He looked around, not awake yet, the sound of running water audible through the cell-block. "Ace! Murphy!"he called, holding his head with his hand. His eyes then opened widely and he looked at his pale white hand.

"AAAHHH!! My gloves!!!"he yelled, standing up. "Shit!" he cursed, then clenched his fists tightly."Arkham Asylum again... As many times as I've been here, how many times do I have to tell you not... to take...MY GLOVES?!"he yelled, slamming his bare fist against the solid stone wall. He then heard the water again. He growled and tensed up, kicking the glass wall hard, and fell onto his side from the pain pulsing up from his foot to his leg.

"Who's got the water on?!" he snapped, looking out of the glass into the hall. He could see Pamela in her cell, and he started to bang on the glass.

"Pam?! Is that you with your stupid plants?!" he asked, crossing his arms. Resigning, Joker sighed and laid down in the uncomfortable cot, looking at his hands longingly.

"I feel naked!" he exclaimed, then tucked his hands under his arms. He looked out of his cell, and raised his eyebrow as the lovely Dr.Harleen Quinzel walked past, keeping her eyes on her clipboard. He smiled widely, then started to think.

"That running water is the rain outside," Harley told him.

Dr.Quinzel looked up at the Joker's cell for a second, flashing a smile, then continued to walk down the hallway, writing things as she passed the cells. Many of the patients, as she preferred to call them, were just waking up. They had gotten many admissions last night, all of them asleep. Some of them has been brought in by Batman and had been roughed up in the process, and some were admitted by some mystery hero, and they weren't roughed up at all.

Harleen, who preferred to be called either Harley or Dr.Quinzel, continued down the hall to her office, where she sat down, logging all of her notes on the patients. She was new, but she knew how all this worked.

With the noise comming from across her own cell pamela sat up in her cot and seen that the joker had been caught yet again. He kept going on about water to where he was assuming that she had something to do with it. "would you just shut your loud mouth you bloody clown, some people are trying to get some damn rest around this place." she stated alnmost in a hissing tone as she slid out of the cot and walked over to the glass leaning on it as Harley walked past with her clipboard. "Come on doll why did you guys have to put that loon across from me, I rather enjoyed the peace when he was gone you know." she complained as she looked up from the glass towards joker in the cell across from her. There were times where you would wonder why this red headed woman was even here but this was not one of them as her slightly insane side started to show through even though she had just woken up.

He was laying down in his bland, stark white bed, dreaming of a black mask floating in a vast empty void. Until he was woken up by something hitting his forehead, just above his eyes and right in the middle of them. It was a water drip, from a crack in the ceiling, he could see the water stain on the ceiling where it was damaging the roof.
With a sigh he leaned up, groaning slightly as he looked out into the barren hallway through the glass wall. Rubbing his head he stood up and walked over to the glass wall to take a look at the hallway, he could see a women walking down the hallway, if he woke up seconds earlier he would have seen who it was, but now she was well past him.
He could here two people yelling out, so early in the morning and it had already began, he turned back to the roof where the water was leaking, only to find another square of concrete like the rest of his room.

    "ACE!"
The loud sound shocked the girl from her formerly comatose state. She looked around quickly, panicking.
'Where am I?' she asked herself, unsure if she was thinking inside her head or out.
    "Who's... there?" she whispered.
Oh... that's right. She was here.
Here was a place that, according to herself, she shouldn't be, but the courts had thought she was too dangerous. She wasn't dangerous. She raised her eyes slightly, looking to the lights in the room. Slowly, a blue light crackled from her eyes. A slight depression in the air spread out from her, creating a perfect sphere of what looked like a slow moving shockwave. When it reached the walls, it caused the outer layer of the concrete to crack before finally flaking off. The damage was only superficial, and would by no means lead to an escape. In reality, this is all she could do, or, rather, all she would do.

Daniella Crawford was making her rounds. She had just got on shift. She would be here for the next three days, sleeping in the nurse's area went not on the clock.
Many had asked why a pretty young woman would want to work in an asylum full of dangerous psychotic criminals, but the truth was Daniella really didn't mind... much... at least she was doing something to help. Keeping the inmates healthy was her focus. And if she could make them smile by doing a little something for them, she did it. Whether is was pancakes for breakfast, or a certain book, or flowers (mostly for Ivy), Daniella liked doing those things for them. She liked helping people and making them happy... plus if her fate was ever in their hands, she wanted them to have a good opinion of her.
She stopped in the hallway and checked her chart to see who was first. It was the standard vitals and temp check, plus noting if they were injured in any way or needed pain medicine. It was usually at this time that she introduced herself to new inmates and told them if they wanted anything she would do her best to get it for them.

I've been dreaming of a true love's kiss...

    "Daniella~".
A soft voice called and a hand waved from the other end of the hallway as Jaina came walking down with her own clipboard firmly pressed against her chest. She was still in training under Crawford, but she did her best to be her professional equal. Always with a slightly mischievous smile tugging at the corner of her mouth, she remained a somewhat mysterious figure. Little was known about her background, just that she was half Indian, half American and now working in an asylum for the criminally insane.
"So, who did we get in last night? Anyone interesting?" She smiled and tucked away a lock of silky black hair that had fallen out of place.

Ragdoll's eyes shot open as soon as the sound of shouting reached his cell. He knew who it was instantly. The familiar voice echoed around him. Joker.

Rolling his eyes, the inmate looked up at the ceiling, to where drops of rainwater leaked in. His last week here had been pretty peaceful, but now they had to ruin it. Now the Joker was here. Now chaos would begin. Then again, wasn't chaos good. Wasn't it fun? Maybe the Joker's return would lead to his escape? Afterall, the freak of a man had escaped from this place countless times before. Once out he could return to the mansion. Return to his lovely costumed monkeys. More importantly though, he would return to his precious stuffed Parademon.

Deciding he might as well get up, Ragdoll began to unravel himself. His legs instantly twisted back round from around his shoulders, and he snaked up to his feet. Sprinting forward, he pressed his hands and face against the glass, peering out. His grey and almost hairless head moved from side to side, his eyes darting about everywhere.

"Can I get my lubricant soon please?" He asked in a concerned voice. "My joints are getting all stiff again and I don't wish to damage this perfect body."

The sound revealed what time it would be, Alice wold come around, cheking if everyone was okey. Oh Aliceeee~ Alice~ Alice~ While sitting on the grey stone floor, his knees tight against his chest and his arms wrapped around them, he would whip for and backward to an unknown melody, a melody wonderfull and melodic. He wonders why Alice coudnīt hear it, she would open the cell then and they would have tea, yes Alice could have all the tea she wants and then after the tea-time, she would get a hat. A lovely Hat, a haT, a HAt.
Jervis then touched his hair as a sudden growed escaped his throat, wiggling now faster to the melody only he seems to hear he begins to rip out whole streaks od his red hair. No Hat, NO HAT, NoNoNoNonOoNoNoOnNon HAT!

"My hAt! thEy ToOK mY haT...aLicE! AlICe?! wHErE aRE yOU aLiCe?! AlIcE TheY tOoK My hA~~a~~t" Jervis tourned around and quickly jumped up, pressing his face against the Plexi-glass which would seperate him from the hallway, from the outer world, from his own personal rabbit hole. He heared someone coming from the med-room, normally Alice would come from the other side of the hallway, from where the bioler room would be, he peeked to the left.
"aLiCe? ALicE iS tHAt YoU?aliCE~ aLIce~ AlIcEeE~ ALi~~~Ce~~~". His face still tightly pressed against against the glass, he finally saw the brown haired women and he jumped back, yelling and screaming at her, his high pitched voice even breaking through the glass only to get more abstract since the small hallway would cause it to reflect. "YoU aRE nOt aLIcE!!! gO AwAy!!! lEAvE mE aLoNe!!!"

Jervis threw himself against the glass-front, wanting the brown haired women to disappear, she wasnīt Alice, NonoNonoonooONononononnONoN, she WAS NOT ALICE!!!!
After throwing himself three more times against the glass-front he crawled into the corner of his cell, far away from the front.
No she was not Alice, she was evil, she was called Daniela, alone the name made Tetch shiver in disgust, Daniela wasnīt even close to Alice, not even the name, not the look, not the brown hair.

Crying softly Tetch would whisper his beloved name over and over, he was without Alice, without a rabbit and worst...without a hat...

Truth be told, Nurse Crawford’s hospitable personality was causing quite a bit of trouble for Mrs J. Schuttmann. Books, changes menu, other items needing to be cleared. As surveillance, she spent quite a bit of time checking up on protocol and calling higher ups to clear it with them, security on the premise would check the actual items brought in…actually, this wasn’t a terrible thing, it was something to do. Other than watch and rewatch surveillance footage, the only other things for her to do were maintain the audio and visual recording devices.

Signing and stamping a small stack of paper work for a single book brought in, she tucked them back into the manila envelope and placed it back into her briefcase, locking it in turn. A physical copy of the documents had to be sent and file away to gods know where, but a digital copy was always available on her laptop. The rain beat off the window of the security room noisily, and the many monitors cast an eerie glow upon the room…same old, same old. With everything in order, both on hand and on screen, Schuttmann pulled herself up from the chair, adjusting her now wrinkled skirt and hair in disarray. How long had she been at this? Maybe some sleep was in order? Checking her watch, then a wall clock…clearly there still wasn’t enough time for that yet, coffee would be good though.

Leaving the room, her eyes were immediately hit with the brightness of the hanging lamps. It really had been several hours since she had been outside of the security room, several hours since she had stared at something that wasn’t on a monitor screen. Damn, she really needed that coffee. Walking past a few cells, and down a corridor, clearly they needed to make the kitchen much closer to the security room next time. Nodding at Nurse Crawford, and another nurse nearby, Schuttmann couldn’t help but stop by a barred window. Rain, rainy, cloud, storm cloud, stormy, thunder, thunderous—A flash of lightning ripped through the sky in the distance.

Selina Kyle gracefully threw up a small stress ball that she was given by her therapist. She was tired of waking up in this bed for days now. Her eyes watched the nurses as they walked by her door. Once more, Selina threw up the ball and caught it behind her back as she rose from her bed. Her suave strut to the door was what began her pacing. A thought of Bruce flickered in her head. She wondered what he was doing and if he could get her out of here. She was wrongfully accused of being insane...again. Her eyes followed the crash of lightning outside of her small, barred window. Maybe Bruce was wondering where she was and wondering how he could save her from the hell she was in. She wasn't supposed to be here. But it was a lot better than being thrown into a prison full of strange folk who wanted to get their way with you. Selina started to bang on her door, screaming, "Nurse! Nurse! Come!"
