Zacar was taken by surprise by the quick attack from Roran. He staggered back, only narrowly blocking Roran’s blow as he did. He took his stance after recovering from the sudden attack. Gripping the bastard sword in two hands he circled Roran for a second and then charged himself, swinging downward, aiming to land a blow hopefully on Roran’s torso. He hadn't adjusted to the weight of the sword though, despite how he had liked the feel of it earlier.
You are to arrogant, Auron said in his head ,Roran's going to leave you with lots of bruises I can see all ready.
Shut it you lizard, Zacar quickly replied so he could concentrate on Roran.
Durok watched the apprentices practice, huffing to himself under his breath ",These kids are good only for wild dragon fodder. Look at how you can predict their moves. My weapons were made for better use then this." Yet he also knew they were apprentices, still in training, he was a stubborn dwarf who felt that the apprentices could always do better then what they did do.
