After many years, Hope's Peak academy has finally decided to open it's door once again to a lucky twenty students. It’s said if you even graduate from this academy you’re basically assured an amazing life and job. They only accept students of the highest caliber, who excel in a various amount of fields. These students are considered“Super High School” leveled students. It’s a dream just to be accepted into this school and be around such high leveled students. Every year they hold a drawing and an average high school is accepted into their school with the title of “Super High School Level Good-Luck” .
It seems you have found yourself at the entrance of such an amazing academy, and who knows what school life awaits you. Whatever your Super High School Level talent is, you just have to try your best and graduate this school,right? All you know is that this school life will be amazing, peaceful, and full of fun and hope!

A simple thing called “Graduation”

Well the only you can do that is by killing one of your fellow classmates.

Isn’t that fun and interesting? This starts a lovely life of mutual killing.

Oh the look on your faces. I can see the despair already!

: Oh one more little catch to it!

You didn’t really think simply killing someone could get you to graduate,right?



You have to make sure you don’t get caught! Simple right? Kill someone and don’t get caught.

Now how do we justify whether you’ll get executed or not?

Well we’ll just have a school trial! Oh those are so much fun!

This school trial will be able to see how well you were able to hide the fact you’re the culprit!

It’s the Innocents Vs. The Culprit in these trials.

If the Innocents choose the right person as the culprit then the culprit is executed.

If they choose the wrong person, then everyone but the actual culprit will die!

If the culprit wins, then that fulfills their “Graduation” and they can leave!

So that’s basically that. I’m sorry for my out OOC Monobear. It’s the best I could do (luckily if you haven’t read dangan ronpa yet, then you won’t know how OOC I am )
The person who said s/he’d play monobear hasn’t replied to me yet about making a Monobear thing for part of the OOC intro so I decided to make one myself for now . I’ll most likely edit it and use our monobear’s intro (or someone else’s if s/he doesn’t answer soon) instead of mine.

Occasionally a pay wall shows up. When it does, you can't access the site unless you're a member. If you aren't then you have the option of creating an account and paying almost $10 (totally worth it tho considering how often the pay wall will show up. They do this because they want people to pay to support the site)

Dangan Ronpa is a murder mystery game and is apparently quite similar to the Phoenix Wright games as well.
Things in this RP may work differently than you guys normally RP.
For one there is always a different culprit since after each school trial the culprit is executed (Meaning at least two people die ((the victim and the culprit because obviously the culprit is gonna get caught either way)) per school trial)
Second of all: People won’t know ahead of time who’s getting killed and who’s the culprit. I’ll randomly select who’ll be getting killed and my Monobear or CO-GM will randomly select who the Culprit will be (Only Monobear knows the culprit since Monobear is the one who can see all the footage)
Because no one will know the culprit ahead of time, we actually will have to do investigating! To make things a little easier for you guys, I’ll be incorporating art into this RP. IF YOU WANT TO ALSO INCORPORATE YOUR OWN INTO THIS RP THEN PLEASE DO. The art will be of the crime scenes and important areas that will hold clues for a clearer picture of how the victim was killed and who the murderer may be!
Once it seems like the school trial is over We will then vote on who the culprit may be in the OOC. Since the culprit is always gonna die, our monobear will tell me if we have to revote so that way we don’t end up having to kill all the innocent people e3e

It’s possible to ally with a culprit but like in the game, but you gain nothing from allying with someone to kill a person. You might even find yourself getting murdered by your ally e3e If you and another person want to form an alliance to murder someone and also want to plan out other things then make sure to tell our Monobear.
Once a culprit and victim are selected those two must create a collab post using the site sync.in
The Culprit must make sure not use their characters name that way we won’t know who the culprit is and to keep from the user playing the culprit making a separate post that way they don’t give away their character!
This RP will require you to actually think and investigate things. That’s why I thought it would be interesting to create such an RP. A Dangan Ronpa style RP is possible to RP, but it does require some skill so this RP will be Mid to High Casual! I won’t be very strict, but I still expect a good amount of good quality posts.
Now before in the intro for the school it stated that the students were all Super High School level students.
Basically they’re really fucking good at what their talent is. THIS TALENT CAN BE ANYTHING SO DON’T EVEN HOLD BACK. SERIOUSLY THERE IS A SUPER HIGHSCHOO LEVEL FORTUNE TELLER IN THIS GAME AND A SUPER HIGH SCHOOL LEVEL DOUJIN WRITER SO DON’T HOLD BACK.
Each student has a title stating what they’re talent is. It’s basically “Super High School Level ________” and it’s fairly simple. If you’re gonna be a super high school level anything I do hope you have some knowledge on your character’s talent.
We will be needing someone to play the Mole in the group of student (ya know the person in league with the baddy or whomever really that basically gives all the details about the other party) so if you feel like being the mole message me.

Also instead of the normal 16 students I’ll be adding 20 instead

Also there will be no constant making of characters. Max characters per person is 4 and that’s it. You can’t make any more characters at all even after your character or another character has died. Not everyone in this RP will die, but no new people will be showing up either. There will only be 20 students and 20 students only. The only people in the academy will be the 20 that have entered the school and no one else new at all. (Monobear and Monomi may be special cases though to this rule as I might make them self sufficient beings rather than animatronics secretly being controlled by one of the students like in the actual game)

Now then here are the Normal Rules:
1. Don’t try and control another person’s character without permission
2. While trying to create a romantic relationship isn’t exactly advisable, it’s not forbidden or anything. Just Keep it PG-13. Not like your character will get laid because any one of you may die before that happens
3. DON’T GO KILLING A PERSON’S CHARACTER UNLESS YOU’VE BEEN NOTIFIED YOUR GOING TO BE A CULPRIT. AND EVEN THEN DON’T GO POSTING IN THE IC SAYING YOU’RE GOING TO KILL SO AND SO’S CHARACTER OR YOU ARE KILLING THAT CHARACTER BECAUSE YOU DON’T WANT TO GIVE AWAY WHO YOU ARE.
4. Don’t speed post. Why would you speed post. Please don’t speed post.
5. Don’t post something pointless
6. Try and interact with other characters.
7. I would like at least two paragraphs or more per post, but if you have to post something less than that then at least post a paragraph.
8. While it’s not required, it is advisable for you to make AT LEAST TWO CHARACTERS. ONE OF YOUR CHARACTERS HAS THE POSSIBILITY OF DYING SO AT LEAST YOU HAVE ANOTHER CHARACTER FOR BACK UP.
9. Please notify me ahead of time if you will be leaving for a while or while be unable to post that way I can find someone who wouldn’t mind handling your character for a while or I’ll try and have your character doing something that doesn’t require you to post for a while I dunno.
10. If you’re having problems with another user do not take it out in the OOC or IC. Solve your problems with that user outside of the RP or try and contact me about it to see if I can try and resolve anything.
11. Try not to take this RP too seriously, but still pretty seriously.
12. Don’t go any of that Back-and-forth mini 1x1 bullshit in the IC. It’s really annoying and if you’re going to find yourself in that position where you are posting back and forth with one other user, please make a collab post using sync.in that way you don’t end make make a whole bunch of pages filled with only posts involving two people.

14. If a person has already claimed a talent, do not make a character with the same talent.

Appearance: his eyes are hazel and change colors from his emotions. his hair is white as snow though his skin is a tad tan. he wears a black and red jacket that says "Dead Fox" around the area of the heart. the sleeves cover most of his hands so you mainly see only his fingers. he wears gray jeans that cover most of his feet and wears black tennis shoes. he wears a tiger eye necklace and bracelets 3 on each wrist and 2 on each leg.

Likes: to copy people and follow them around. he loves to eavesdrop and people who do it aswell, foxes, he likes instigate fights usually not with himself. he loves to eat pastries and bread
Dislikes: getting into fights, people who are to smart, silence, dogs, and water.
Personality: Kioku is a very bright and upbeat person who loves to annoy people by copying them sometimes getting called the clitche name of copy cat. he is actually very devious and hides his dark motives behind being thoughtful and kind. he tries to act optimistic and make friends with everyone, then tear their friendship apart once he figures out how to act like them. he can never really sit still and has a short attention span so he will tend to walk off if you bore him.
History: There is no off set reason for his devious nature other then he likes it. He has an ordinary family of a mother, father, 2 sisters one younger then him one older. he loves foxes because as creatures of mythes they always were devious things and felt a kinderd soul in them. he tends to wear a fox mask for this reason. throughout his life he ruined peoples relations to one another by pretending to be the other person and causing issues. for this more then anything his nickname is Doppleganger because they would copy another person and kill the person and take over their life. he had those skills though he had never killed another person before so the school rules will be different for him. he got through school by copying peoples answers or pretending to be a teacher and got into the answer sheets. he bascally cheated his way through and it seemed pretty successful for him. he has show to get very annoyed when people start to catch on to him
