This reminds me of my travels in Nepal, where I met a Buddhist monk on the side of a mountain path. I asked him what his purpose was in wearing nothing but a robe on the snowy mountains during the late autumn. Late autumn in those lands is a harsh time, and while in my native country we enjoy a temperate climate where autumn means pumpkins and a slight decline in temperature, in Nepal autumn is a deep breath before the storms of winters. He replied to me that he wasn't sure what his purpose was, but in fact had come to this edge of the mountains to dwell on the matter.
Then we went back to his temple and watched Mean Girls. Nepalese monks have 1080p screens and Gretchen Wieners is just adorable, so I figured I might as well stay for movie night.
