People fled, a lot not fast enough. We were lucky we got away from the stampede and barricaded ourselves in a nearby 7/11. But we’ve been in here for a week and the food is about to run out and if we want to get to our families from here we need to gather what we can and get the hell out of here!”
So this is something I’ve been spawning on. It’s a survival/horror(ish) RP where our group of students from a University in let’s say Texas, needs to get away from these aliens who seemingly are just balls of light that kill you by touch. The plot revolves around them needing to get to their families that are spread out in the country. Are they alive? Are they not? Well that’s up to each individual if this gets made. They learn about how do get away and how to hurt/kill them as they go. I was thinking that they can’t travel by day because you can’t see the “Light’s” in daylight. Maybe if it’s bad weather I don’t know. So the “Light’s” has killed maybe about half the world so it’s like a ghost town where they are right now.

Sounds good, and I also like the idea of monsters or something that come out at night maybe humans that have been 'changed' by the light.

Having a country really helps though, for example: In America firearms are ALOT more common than in the UK and the sort of terrain you will emcounter varies greatly from place to place. Universities don't differ greatly across the world so just act on what you know and you'll probably be all right.
Oh that's a great idea of people changing in to creatures! Kind of like the specials in Left 4 Dead! It doesn't really matter if you know about the university, the roleplay does not play out at the university at all. Maybe they go back there to gather some things from their dorms but that's about it.
I'm really glad that you guys are interested! I'll start filing on an OOC! If you have more ideas just hit me with them!
