Sarasagi was a Miraluka born on Bosthirda, its proximity to Korriban and the Dark Side temple it played host to made every force sensitive on the planet go to Korriban after their detection. Some willingly, some thrown in the back of a ship. Sarasagi was no exception. Her sensitivity was picked up around her fifteenth birthday. Before this, she was working in a bar, cleaning tables and gathering glasses left by patrons. She only got the job because of her mother's friendship with the owner, no other manager wanted to risk her Sumu Akili, a Miralukian word that meant 'Posioned Mind' which could cause anything from hysterical laughter to a homocidal insanity. Her mother had taught her how to deal with a drunken customer so she was no stranger to fighting, but she was a but a child when it came to the Korriban acadamy. Her mother felt good that her child was Force Sensitive, and could finally take revenge for the murder of her husband by the vile Jedi, but Sarasagi had other things to worry about.
Shipped off to become a Sith or die, Sarasagi had to become strong quickly, while some of the acolytes had already received training and where skilled in the vicious styles, Sarasagi only had the bare bones of how to subdue someone. This caused some problems in the first few weeks of her training. She was battered to a pulp by the stronger, more skillful acolytes and even came close to dying at one point. However she managed to hang onto her life and adapt to Sith fighting. Eventually she managed to best the acolytes she fought. However, there was an adverse affect on her already damaged Psyche.
At Korriban she gained an interest-some would said it boarded obsession- with blood. She did not care who's blood it was-Tukata, Shyrack, or even other Acolytes. This grew to a point where she would prefer to use the now outdated Sith Sword rather than a Lightsaber because she liked to see things bleed rather than the instant cauterization of a Lightsaber. The Sith Swords where a lot heavier than the usual Lightsaber and she needed to gain a lot more strength that she already had to be able to use them effectively. However, when she had managed to lift them without being debilitated she found they where magnificent weapons. Weither this new thought pattern was because of her Posioned Mind, the Sith way of life, just a hidden vindictiveness that had come to the serface, or a combonation of them. The newer acolytes began to refer to Sarasagi as the Blood Queen, or Queen of Blood, however the Overseers put a stop to it before they swelled Sarasagi's head. However she had already stored the name in her mind, and it gave her no end of stisfaction to be called such in private.
This vindictive personality was muted when she was with her superiors- the overseers and especially the Lords that walked Korriban- but when she was with equal people she loved to antagonize and frighten them by making comments about their blood and how potent it might be. She believed that since blood was life, it held the strength of the person it gave life to. A stronger person would have more potent blood. However, experiments on people where rare so she couldn't give much weight to this theory.
Sarasagi's experiments with samples of blood eventually began to run dry, and she began to work on blood while it was still inside the body, but her grasp of the force was not strong enough for garanteed results, and she failed more times than she suceeded, however she was determined to unlock the secrets that she knew where hidden inside the red liquid of life. She passed her tests and left the Academy, granting even more freedom to her experiments of blood. By the time she had left, she was known for though out the Acadamy for her obession with Blood, her use of a Sith Sword and her skill with the Ataru form, each one of them ensured her place in the Sith society.
