The tournament was what he had been waiting for all these years, even if he only heard of it once and then suddenly decided that it's what he wanted to do. The kid was not an enthusiastic observer of the tournaments, he wasn't one of those strange fans you'd see on the first few rows just to see if they could catch the beads of sweat off the fighters just to feel the thrill of the fight; rather, the kid was part of the tournament itself. The age limit had been imposed many times, but when it came to certain guests at the tournament there was definitely a need to put the young participant in with the adults and not the other children. There had been a few times many years ago where the children were put in great danger because there was a pair of super-powered kids competing, it seemed now they had learned their lesson. While small, frail-looking and scruffy, the boy sported a long monkey tail which meant he was one of the few Saiyan creatures that had arrived in this generation. It would had been too dangerous for the children if he was in their line up, good thing he was only a year below the sixteen year old breakaway that the tournament had to suffer through.
It was exciting to watch all the people getting beat up, it was almost as exciting as fighting strong warriors. There was more to life than fighting, the kid knew that, but there was still something about it that got him all excited and unable to sleep. Compared to the other Saiyan boy out there, this one was completely untamed and excitable, a happy kid who cared little about his origins. While the other boy hid his tail, this one presented it freely even while others stared at it sometimes when he was around people; it was a tail, other people had it so it was nothing to be ashamed of. The other boy had yet to notice him, there was a lot of competition to push through in this place after all and word rarely travelled between the older and younger generation of fighters.
While this boy wasn't brown or black haired, instead sporting hair that hinted a copper colour in light, he did share similarities with the kid out on the field who was ready to battle a much larger human. The kid was dressed in simple clothes that you'd expect from a child from the wild, a simple little vest and some long shorts on but no shoes or hand wraps to be seen. His feet looked a little unusual, as if he had been using his toes to grasp onto things a lot only for them to form differently. The kid was definitely not one you'd see in society, but the tournament was definitely the kid's way to being drawn towards the public if only to fight and win. The Announcer was busy having a great time telling everyone who the combatants were, only the boy was more fascinated by how the fight might go compared to who might end up winning and who he will be facing.
