"Oh? Of course, nice to see one of you boys have manners!" Roshi declared, flinching faintly as Takeshi moved only to see him set the boy on the couch he had been sleeping on. Remembering what he had left on the couch he ran over, snatching up a magazine and hiding it in his shirt, a faint red painting his face. When receiving a curious glance from the older boy he only shook his head, smirking a bit. "It's something adults do, you wouldn't understand boys," was all Roshi had replied, smiling with his trademark laugh as Takeshi blushed in realization, no doubt Shu was still bolivious though. Leaving to the kitchen for the moment he soon returned with a cup of tea, offering it to the younger of the two Saiyans. "This is a special herbal tea, it'll help you relax. I can't have my guests passing out on me!"
Rolling his eyes a bit, Takeshi went over to the nearest wall, leaning against it casually as he folded his arms, looking at Roshi confused. He'd learned three things already about the old man. For one, he was nowhere near as strong as made out to be, not that it was much of a surprise. Secondly, he was hospitable, to Shu anyways, not that he cared for hospitality anyways. Lastly, he was a pervert. Judging by that magazine anyways, the old hermit was certainly not shy about his... Interests. How embarrassing, a Master that stared at women all day? With a soft sigh Takehsi looked over to Shu, making sure the kid was relatively comfortable before speaking. "All right old man... If you're training us, which I doubt you'll help much. What do we need to do?"
Roshi got a gleam in his eye, a bit more of a serious expression on his face as he walked over to Takeshi and knocked him on the head with his stick. "Mind your manners! Don't you know how to show your elders respect?" he snapped, smiling when the Saiyan began to comically clutch the small welt on his head from the strike. Laughing to himself, the hermit went back to Shu, taking a seat in the free couch before looking at the boy curiously. "You'll make a good student at least, been too long since I saw your kind around here boys, I have to admit I missed it." Reaching down to the table he grabbed an old cup of tea, sipping at it before grimacing and looking at Takeshi sternly. "You! Since you're having trouble with manners, I think we'd better straighten you out first. Go make me some fresh tea, or I won't train you!" He couldn't help but smirk when the older boy sulked off to do as he was told, looking back to Shu. "You're traveling with that boy eh?"
