Unusual Circumstances IC [Beasley & Lockerz]

Alex sighed softly as she stood in front of the door of the apartment, fumbling with her keys as her partially gloved hands attempted to unlock the door. She had an intense workout this evening, and had even did some kick boxing too, so she was officially worn out. She readjusted her duffel bag as the door slowly swung open and she made her way inside, looking around the apartment as she walked into the living room and called out "I'm home." She wasn't sure if Devin was home or not and wasn't really too preoccupied with it since she didn't know her that well anyway. Heck, the two of them weren't even supposed to be rooming together. There was just some stupid rooming error that the landlord did and unfortunately, he would not have another one available until later this year, which was a bummer since they were suppose to start school this week.

She tossed her bag onto the floor of the living room and made her way into the kitchen, peering into the refrigerator as she looked for something to drink. After a few seconds, she had settled on a a bottle of water, figuring soda would just make her workout useless and void. She made her way back into the living room and grabbed her bag, deciding now would be a good opportunity to to grab a shower while no one was home. As she entered their bedroom, she couldn't help but stop in front of the mirror on the dresser and examine her body, her eyes narrowing slightly as she tugged down at the black sports bra she had worn today with her black Spandex shorts. She quickly peeled off her sweaty clothes and tossed them into a hamper in the corner of the room before making her way into the bathroom, not bothering to look around for anyone as she walked naked, since she figured she was alone.

After showering and changing into a pair of gray gym shorts and a white off the shoulder tank top, she made her way back into the kitchen, her bare feet thumping softly against the tiled floor as she debated on whether to cook or not.
That awkward moment when you wish you were a towel.

Devin blew out a long breath as she pulled up short from the sprint she'd thrown herself into. The floodlights above made the slightly misty sky shiver a little and for a few seconds the girl bent over double and put her hands on her knees. Moments later a hand clapped against her shoulder, nearly knocking her forward onto the turf. "Come on, don't give up, so easy," The other player teased as The brunette stood up straighter.
"I literally just ran laps around your ass, Em," She put back with a smirk. Emily laughed and shook her head, playfully pulling Devin's head band down over her eyes. The two players spoke for a few moments before Devin bid the rest of the team goodbye and headed back into the changing rooms. She showered quickly in one of the stalls, figuring she may as well before she went home, got lazy and didn't bother to do it despite her sweaty self. Wrapping a towel around herself on the way on, she rubbed at her hair with another. It was long when wet, hanging to beneath her shoulder blades but she wore it up so often that she didn't really remember the length. After drying herself she changed into a pair of tracksuit bottoms and an oversized team hoodie and pulled her bag onto her shoulder.

She parked her car in the small parking area outsides of the living blocks and grabbed her pack from the back, making her way inside the building. Devin wasn't really someone who spent a lot of time at home so it hasn't been an issue with her acquired roommate. She seemed like a nice girl. A pretty one too. Unlocking the door she wandered in and dumped her kit down beside the door. Slipping her hands into her pockets she heard the sound of movement and headed toward it. "Hey," She greeted kindly when the girl came into view. "I brought some wraps on the way back. Didn't know what you liked so I got a selection if you want any," She said kindly, setting the brown bag on the counter and offering a smile at Alex. She then leant into it herself and pulled a chicken one out before wandering into the living room and flopping down on the sofa, putting her feet up on the small coffee table, thick football socks visible when she slid her shoes off.

"If I believe in one thing... just one thing... I believe in her,"
