So, is this:
Labyrinth + Willow + ShadowRun ?
Sounds interesting. What type of characters would we be playing?
I've been out of forum roleplaying for a few years, and I'd love to get back into it. The gist of this story is a goblin metropolis led by a suspiciously blonde, human-like king (Labyrinth? Of course not...) comes under attack the day it connects to the outside world through its magical version of the Internet. A young goblin survivor faces a dragon and--with the aid of a non-goblin traveler/travelers visiting the city--leaves its walls for the first time in his life, following the call of the horizon, seeking answers and adventure. The general setting is medieval fantasy (both high and low) with sci-fi elements, ranging from simple electric lighting to much more rare elements like body modifications and possibly mechanical life. There may also be a tendency towards some obscure heavy metal references here and there. I'm a fan. I don't expect anyone else to be, though; it'll be more for flavor than anything. I have a few characters and situations in mind and would like help expanding upon it. Some comedy is welcome, but not required. In other words feel free to join (since I've already posted it before actually coming here, oops) or message me with questions. I'll start an OOC thread if there's interest.

Still recovering from Mono. Limited activity. Very sorry.
If you'd like. I just included the Labyrinth reference because I think it's funny. Characters can be anything you want, but I'm leaning towards mostly fantasy oriented, with at least a knowledge of technology. Internet exists, but it's rare and in the very early stages, and most communication is done by letter, or more rarely through magic. Other technology is far more advanced, like mechanical limbs and brain chips, but it's extremely rare and mostly rumor. I encourage a little comedy, or at least references to fantasy pop culture. But something original never hurts.
