This is a mafia roleplay, but is less about shoot em ups and beating on store clerks for your protection racket. It's heavily influenced by such works as The GodFather movies, and books, as well as Sons of Anarchy and The Boss, and there's no need to continue such a long list.
In this roleplay, it's more about the drama of a mafia lifestyle, it's ups and downs, personal relationships, and the idea of what keeping secrets can do to those relationships.

Is there going to be a main plot to the RP or is it mostly just everyone doing their own business? Who are going to be our opponents (NPCs, other families, cop players)? And what happens if there aren't enough signups - are double ups allowed?
I might be interested in playing the family hitman or racketeering, although my influence would be GTA LCS instead of the mafia movies.

My days are now slightly busier, so it may take longer for me to reply.
There is a main plot, for awhile it will be in the form of flashbacks to show how the Family started and their roots, then it will transition to modern day and with the advancements in criminal justice methods it will detail the individual members fall from grace, each in their own way. There will be side plots for each character, but one larger plot to tie them all together. The enemies and opponents range from another, newer Family to cops among others. If not enough people sign on in a week then those who have signed on are allowed to double up.

With some guidance, I am very much interested in any lead mafia role, preferably a made man. Seems like the only reasonable spot for cynics, sociopaths, or natural leaders. Well, I can at least pretend to roleplay as such.
