Normally, when I do a merc, it's generally just a cutthroat who's in it for the money, but I'll probably go with something a little more... interesting...

Actually, this is my first Advanced-level RP I've done, as I'm usually hanging out in the Casual RP's. I figured I'd take a shot at something in Advanced, so here I am.

I made it vague intentionally where you all have a chance to make whatever type of salacious(purely optional) character you want! But notice how I said Bastions of Man, kingdoms of Man. Yes, your astute observations are correct! Fantastical races do exist but they have retreated into the background. Man has the dominance in this particular region, though some stubborn little sea elves like to wayside the so-called progress of mankind with their flexible trade routes.

Personally, for my character I was thinking a short-fused, beserker who likes the bottle a little too much (female) or an elf who's an eccentric mute with hidden strength. Either is fun to play and both could be comedic relief.

I am leaning towards the mute elf, since it would be a challenge to communicate with other characters but would also be a fun experience as a roleplayer.

Plus, she'd be a cutey :3

I highly doubt EVERYONE here is going to post a character sheet in the OOC, so you're welcome to try out a character.

EDIT: Though for now, I'm going to have to close this thread for more people. There's so many that expressed interest! We'll see how many actually make characters for the out of character thread. I'd like it greatly though if it could be confined to 7 people (me included), so 6 people max.
