    Hi

    Hello!

I feel obligated after several months of lurking around like a creep to make a post. I promise I haven't been lurking around the whole time. I did go away and come back once or twice.

Welcome to the Guild, Susuwatari. Glad to see you've decided to stop lurking and settle down.

If you happen to have any questions about the forum or need some help getting around, feel free to ask me or one of the other Comrades. We're the users with italicised usernames, and we'd be happy to lend a hand if you need it.

If you're looking to get started nice and quickly, I'd recommend starting with the Guild's Guide. It should answer most of your questions.

    Thank you!

That defeats the purpose of my lurking. This is why we can't have nice things.
I'll lurk harder in the future.

If you don't want to be seen you can always use the invisible mode, of course that takes away the excitement.

I thought about it, but you're right that it takes all the excitement out of lurking around. It's like cheating.

So it is more a matter of whether you enjoy the sport or do not wish to be seen.

Unquestionably the sport. Hiding isn't all that exciting if no one can find you.

You can still be found, it is just far more difficult.
