Ten years ago a group of teenagers disappeared without a trace and now on the day of their disappearance they've returned.

These teenagers were not taken to a lab or to special place where they were cherished; to a place where every moment was a fight for survival and where each moment was a struggle.

They were sent to a place where the thing that made them who they were was stripped away from them the moment they arrived. They were taken to a place where they needed to adapt to a world that was ready to feast on their minds and bodies.

They were taken to a place where the things we didn't see, the things we lost, and the things not meant to be existed. They were taken to ...


The World of Ex.


This was the world where the nightmares came from. This was the place where the lost civilizations strived. This was where the forgotten time existed. This was the playground for the lost minds.

It is a place where the bright sun caused blindness. It's a place where snow ate living creatures. It is where the winds brought it's plagues and illnesses. It's a place where even the moon laughed at death.

This was a world where time and places were forever changing. This was a world where things moved in a pace all independent from each other. This was a place where one second can make a one year difference.

This was where they survived until they found everyone.

Quick question before I actually get started on my character: Which would seem more OP, in your opinion?

Gradual Weapon Mastery: When the character keeps any weapon in their possession for a long enough period of time, they will slowly gain something of a "muscular memory" in which they subconsciously know how to use the weapon, becoming something of a master in as little as a week. However, the weapon they choose must always be their sole weapon of choice, so if they choose to wield another weapon, master it, and take the previous weapon, they will have to spend the time to master that weapon once more. This will only work for one weapon at a time, so no dual-wielding.

Bottomless Pistol: The character is given what looks on the outside to be a Colt .45 1911 semi-automatic pistol. As the name implies, the pistol will never run out of bullets, so there is no need to scavenge for ammunition. However, the pistol only packs a smaller punch than a real pistol; it's only as strong as a fully pumped airsoft pellet gun, meaning that it will sting like hell on any unarmored opponent, but will only serve to irritate tougher enemies. As such, this pistol is only really useful at close-to-point-blank range.

Well since they are only blessed with one ability for compensation the muscle memory one would be best.

That being said that bottomless pistol is a possible artifact that can be used in the future.

Name: Tristen Stiles

Age: 19 (17 at time of abduction)

Appearance:

Personality: Before coming to Ex, he was a bit of an introvert. He never really spoke much to other people, and he generally preferred to keep to himself, never getting into any fights and having less than an ideal number of friends, if any. However, because of his nature, he never really had much courage with women, so he had to settle for the next best thing: pornography. When it came to porn, Tristen was almost as lecherous as a depraved old man. He would spend hours in front of the computer looking through different adult websites, hoping to find the next great picture to which he will "relieve himself." He would look at so much porn that, almost every other month, he would have to take his computer in to get it cleared out.

During his time in Ex, he lost his sense of affection gradually, and he is now a cold, almost heartless young man. He now holds no remorse for anyone or anything, seeing them now as mere obstacles or annoyances. While back on Earth, he would be more open to others' feelings, but in Ex, empathy was no longer a strong suit for him. If someone were to come up to him and say that they had nothing to eat and nowhere to sleep, he would tell them "Tough shit" and keep on walking.

Time Spent: 2 years

Things Lost: All affection whatsoever, from lust to compassion

History: Tristen never asked to be a part of this field-trip. He would have rather been at home, doing what he really enjoyed, than be forced to spend any long amount of time with an entire group of people. The bus ride itself managed to go off without a hitch; he somehow managed to keep the spot next to him empty, but when the group got off the bus, he immediately began dreading this and began fruitlessly wishing to be back in his room, at the desk on his computer...

...and when he opened his eyes, he was at his desk. For a brief moment, Tristen felt as though he had woken up from some kind of nightmare, but something was wrong. The place looked like his room, except it wasn't; the bed was torn to pieces, almost as though some wild animal had used it for a next, and there was a demolished hole in the wall where his door should be. He stepped out of his room, and there before him was a vast desert, stretching out as far as he could see. This wasn't any ordinary desert, either; out in the distance, he could see tilted skyscrapers and leveled homes among the dunes.

Tristen didn't have to be smart to know that he was a long way from home.

Tristen was given no real time to relax; he had seen some strange things out in the desert, ranging from beautifully deadly Nagas to emperor scorpions roughly the size of minivans. There were a few rare occasions when he would come across giants made from the very desert sand. Everything he saw out in that desert left more than a mark on Tristen. This wasn't a video game, no matter how unrealistic, and even he was smart enough that he couldn't play the hero everytime.

However, in his dirty mind, that was the least of his worries. Tristen went through what would be considered withdrawal, given that he wasn't able to look through the pictures he so craved back home. However, as more time passed, the urge to relieve himself slowly diminished. Tristen thought of this as just kicking the habit, but something else was wrong. On the one year "anniversary" of his arrival, he felt no sadness whatsoever, nor did he feel any pride in himself for managing to live so long. In a year and a half, he lost the sense of compassion, and finally, he lost what little affection he had left for anything--his home, this world, and even human contact. In two long years, Tristen had gone from a porn-addicted introvert to a cold, uncaring person with barely any remorse for anyone else.

Equipment: Slightly rusted butcher knife and a tinderbox (the latter he uses for "down-home cooking")

Oh and Akuma? they were on a field trip...so the way he came to ex cannot be used, also I thought you weren't going to RP a cold blooded Psychopath? or did I confuse you with someone else?

@FiroIV: I think that was someone else. I was wondering if being a pervert would mean being devoid of lust and you said that it would more be along the lines of 'loss of affection'. In the meantime, I'll fix the history so that it will work.

BTW, will this be the same with all the characters, as in on the same field trip, or will it be a different one each disappearance/set of disappearances?

Oh yeah...but still no psychopathic killers, that's not very fun in the long run, plus how can he work sparingly with someone if one of them is psychotic.
Now that I've reread the C.S. I don't think I can allow guiltlessness, it has very little connection to affection.

In those two years care to tell what exactly has he killed?

Same field trip, same school and chances are everyone knows each other to a certain degree.

The bus was fine they even reached their destination. What happened was when they got to the location of the field trip they just disappeared in the crowd. The next moment for them was waking up in Ex.

Ok, got a question. Can the thing they lose when entering Ex be something physical or does it need to be something related to their personality? Had an idea about someone who is very vain and egotistical that slowly loses physical definition, eyes/mouth closes and fades away, nose and ears sink into their head until their face is just blank, their chest becomes completely flat and without definition, lose the nails on fingers and toes. Stuff like that, which would happen over time and in turn effect their personality greatly.

If thats too out there had another idea where the same type of person would lose their sense of self. Haven't been able to come up with what powers either situation would grant though.
