Don't worry, I'm the Amazing Absentminded Girl. This is normal for me.

    Sadly. lol
I think it is adorable lol.

Thanks for the siggy Harby san. You definitely know my tastes.

It's always a big relief when someone finds the absent minded bit endearing instead of irritating. lol

So I'll just be grateful and thank you kindly. <3

    And shut myself up.

Then all bets are off.

But we can't think of that ever happening, surely.

Get me on MSN or AIM and I'll tell you. <3

lol I can't imagine someone being worth getting banned over. And there are seriously infraction points?! I wonder if I have any...though I'm likely too dull to warrant cool kid points like that. =/ I do agree though the flaming hurts more than helps. I'm all for being a cynical jackass. But can't cynical jackasses be helpful to new people? I think they can. My favorite old roleplayers and people that run some of these sites are the people that treat it like a job to one degree or another. Like they have their 'on duty' hats and 'off duty' hats. Which is good. You'd want compartmentalizing if they ran this kind of site.

But, yes, do try to avoid being permabanned. It's just unnecessary.

I think a lot of people here on the Guild could fit in with Spam, if they choose to. You probably just got a sample of that with the GoT chat. Although that still doesn't tell me how Spam WORKS. Plus, I do chat with people. I just don't use Spam for it. As I said, I have MSN and AIM. I've also began experimenting with other roleplay sites myself. Including...well, that I'll leave for whispers. ^_^
Well that's less fun for bystanders, but I guess it's better in the grand scheme of things. Also, that reference to a certain player.

I actually do have AIM, my username is JorickRPG on there. Normally I wouldn't throw around my contact stuff in public, but meh, I made it for talking to Guild people anyway so why the fuck not?

There are totally people worth getting a temporary ban over, but not a perma. That's where I draw the line. You would know if you had infraction points, you would've gotten a PM saying you got a warning or a ban, then there would also be a tab you could see in your own profile labeled Infractions listing warnings and bans you've gotten. And I'm totally helpful to new people, I still cruise through the Introduce Yourself section now and again throwing helpful links at people. I also give Spam newbies a non-hostile warning about how to hack it here unless they're being full on retarded, in which case it's on.

Yeah, I think you're right, most people could fit into Spam. It has a reputation that's worse than the reality, despite people like myself existing. How Spam works is basically.. just a jumble of nonsensical shit, really. You post as you like, just on any other forum. The only possible difference is the xenophobia and ageism (via join date) people have here. Really though, after the initial "omfg who are you?!?!? D:<" period you get along just fine by not being an overwhelmingly annoying douchebag. You can be a douchebag and have people like you (I'm proof), but you have to be entertaining about it for people to accept it. There's really nothing to learn about how Spam works so long as you know how a forum works and you're ready to deal with weirdos and assholes and random silliness.

I've never found another RP site I really liked, so I stopped looking. Also I think I know what those whispers are about, but I'll be quiet.

The irony? I just got one of those 'Who are you!?!' threads.

It's a bit jarring at first. I don't like spotlight, and seeing my name all bold in the Spam section? Nothankyou. But I figured the shock value was all part of it. And I did provoke it by bugging Ace in PMs. ^_^
