Say, Serperior, would you object to me making a second character if we end up shortstaffed when Wednesday rolls around?
Thanks! I'll post up my CS tomorrow!

Say, Serperior, would you object to me making a second character if we end up shortstaffed when Wednesday rolls around?
Name - Luke Foster
Gender - Male
Age - 21
Nationality - CoS
Physical Description/Appearance - Luke is a young man, about 5'11. He has jet-black hair and pale skin, and is somewhat on the lanky side. He has bright green eyes, and a rather androgynous face. He usually dresses plainly, preferring to not express himself through clothing. He tends to look a little unkempt, often ignoring anything more than basic hygiene.
Personality - At a glance, you would find Luke to be a friendly, personable man, if a bit jumpy. He is creative, intelligent, and energetic, which would be of great use to the Brotherhood if he weren't so quirky. He is very focused on the future, rather than the now, which sometimes gets in the way of his ability to plan as he misses details. Deep down, he has a mistrust of his fellow humans. In addition, he believes that AI will take over the manual labor tasks that humans must do to survive, and dreams of this ideal. These two things combined are what motivate the quirkiness of his designs.
Battle Info - Luke is a Mechanic who salvages parts and creates weapons. Because of his personality, his weapons and creations usually end up with a defining characteristic: they have minimal manual controls. This doesn't always mean that they're designed to be simple, or automated, so it's usually an exercise in frustration to use a Foster weapon. Furthermore, they're usually somewhat ramshackle, making them a bit fragile. As a trade off, he actually is skilled, so his weapons are powerful if one can manage to use them. He also makes non-weapon devices, which are much more functional than his weapons. He simply needs parts that can fit the situation.
In battle, he prefers to ride his mech (see below).
Weapons - Luke only carries two weapons consistently. One is a standard-order pistol. The other is a sort of long-distance taser. It fires a thin-strong thread, headed by a small claw-like grip. Upon contact with flesh, it pumps electricity until life signs are not detected, at which point the gun withdraws. He has more weapons back at home, most in an experimental state.
Equipment - Luke has a remote control, with a shockingly large amount of buttons and switches, as well as a frequency switch. He has a strange cable he carries around, which has one simple ethernet port on one end and a converter device that can convert from most standard ports. He also carries around his laptop; he'll steal code if he has the chance. Finally, he carries around a light tool-kit, with tools that are most useful to salvaging and repair.

History - Luke Foster was born to parents in the factory sector of the CoS, near what hundreds of years ago was Chicago. His parents had always had some doubt about the society they lived in, but didn't act out in order to avoid execution. This doubt seeped into their parenting, thus seeding Luke with this same distrust.
Luke showed a great aptitude for machinery and robotics at an early age, fixing damaged machines and constructing basic engines out of spare parts by the time he was 9. The government showed great interest in this, and took him from his parents at age 11 to the Military sector, where he was to be educated in machinery to the highest level. The government had a task for young Luke in mind -- he was to help out with the effort to replicate UI technology. Luke was educated for four years, and showed aptitude for even the advanced (to the CoS) areas of the subject. At 15, he was finally given a captured UI mech to reverse-engineer, and he slowly began the process.
All throughout this time, Luke had been noticing things about the society he had lived in. Soldiers were treated like pawns, not people. There was an extremely strong authority, but no real benefit to it. He began to distrust the people around him. As he recalled his parents, who had raised him well before being ripped away from him, he grew disdainful. This all came to a head when, under mistaken bureaucratic orders, a group of soldiers used the mech he was reverse-engineering for target practice, blowing it to bits. This was too much for Luke. He snuck out into the wasteland, where he encountered the Brotherhood. He joined them in a heartbeat, hoping to end the illogical and redundant reign of over-powerful humans over the people of his nation. He was made to build a mech, which he did. Upon seeing the final product, described above, the leaders of the BoB realized Luke wasn't quite the best choice to head mechanical development, and he was left to his own devices.
I must say, Mado, that you have quite the interesting character. He's accepted so long as you stay away from Tobias's arm hahaha
Name: Jason Kestel
Gender: Male
Age: 42
Nationality: Formerly of the UF; now in the Brotherhood of Blood
Physical Appearance: Jason is just under six feet tall, with long, unkempt, dark blonde hair. He is very agile, able to jump higher and run faster than most people, and does not tire easily. He is strong enough to hold his own in a fist fight, but is never regarded as "strong" compared to others. He wears short-sleeved shirts and shorts, even in cold weather, but he does own some warmer clothes for emergencies.
Personality: Jason is reserved towards strangers, but is very talkative around people he knows. He does not get angry or depressed easily, and tends to be the one to encourage those that feel downcast. He enjoys music very much, and is often found singing or humming to himself.
Battle Info: Jason was a spy for the UF before he joined the Brotherhood. As such, he uses stealth and agility rather than brute force. He is skilled at sneaking up on enemies, and is very observant.
Weapons: Jason usually carries several knives in his belt, made of an extremely sharp material that can cut through wood like butter. He is also skilled at dodging enemies' blows. He does carry a rifle should the need for ranged attacks arise, but he is never known as a skilled marksman - in fact, he was often made fun of in the UF for his terrible shots. He doesn't care, though.
Equipment: As a spy, Jason carries a suicide pill hidden in his shirt. He also carries several knives in his belt (usually three or four). He carries a small device that, when activated, disrupts all radio signals within a quarter-mile radius. He also carries special gloves and boots with suction-cups on them, enabling him to climb most walls, though not very swiftly.
Position in the Military: Jason is one of the leading spies of the BoB.
History: Jason grew up in The United Front. He joined the military as soon as he was eligible, but it was obvious that he didn't have the physical strength needed to be a simple soldier. So he became a spy, doing several infiltration missions to the CoS and UI, and learned several things about the way things are run in those countries. He was almost caught only once, but he managed to escape the authorities and make his way back to the UF.
One day, he was sent on a top secret mission to spy on the new group called the Brotherhood of Blood, and began to learn several things about it. He was amazed at what he found. This organization was a free one, without the strict punishments and eternal war of the three large nations. Soon, he made up his mind: he would join the Brotherhood. He began feeding false information to the UF, leading it to believe that the BoB posed no threat, and then proposed to join. The UF now believes him to be a secret operative inside the Brotherhood, when in fact he is now a spy for the other side.

Hmm....Nice character, Entei! That small device might need to have a much smaller radius. Perhaps about a quarter of a mile?
Also, as a spy, you'll be working under Showdown's character and possibly with Flaresun's.
Anyway, accepted. Now there is only one free slot remaining. The other two, I am waiting on their CS's.
Please accept my pledge of interest. This RP is too good to miss out on!
NB: I am writing this under piles of fatigue, so please forgive any errors or poor technique.
Name - Cressila Zedina (Cilla)
Gender - Female
Age - 23
Nationality - Mediterranean
Physical Description/Appearance - Her attire is suited to withstanding the extreme desert weather. A wide belt of tanned hide holds up her loose-fitting pants; once white, they have been yellowed by the terrain. Boots of soft leather are strapped over the cuff and up to the knee, reinforced by plated shin-guards, caked with dust. A fitted vest, the colour of dusky figs, wraps tightly under the bust, contrasting the billowing, cream material spilling out at the sleeves. They flare at the forearm and taper around her wrists. A hooded cloak conceals her attire, and the kaleidoscope of purples worn as bangles and beaded necklaces, muting it with dusty brown.
Personality - The dreamer. A free spirit, one who often acts first, thinks later, and is optimistic to a point that her excuses for acting out of logic are among the most creative. She is guilty of compassion on the ‘battlefield’, an extension of her peaceful nature; pangs of remorse unyielding for even the harshest of enemies suffering her strikes. Though betrayed a few times, battered and broken, exposed to the selfishness and ugliness of humankind’s primal instincts, her heart remains strong; it allows her to love fearlessly, serve loyally and opens her mind to the possibilities attached to endless hope. Like an oasis hiding behind a sheet of sand on the winds, her dainty conspicuousness can draw one into complacency until they are struck by an unseen force.
Behind a long-ranged weapon, her sense of aim and awareness are phenomenal. When unarmed, she supplements her lack of physical power with basic self-defence techniques, a small blade or, of course, the failsafe method of running like sunlight between mirrors. She shows genuine concern for her allies and takes their safety seriously, viewing her squad position as a guardian-type role. Congenial and mild-tempered, she rarely feels the need to react in an overtly negative way, if at all. It takes a certain kind of cruelty to stir a reaction. The natural world holds a special place in her heart, she empathises with its creatures, sighting every living thing as equally relevant. However placid she may seem, given time to study, a very observant person can spot the cracks in her veneer.
Battle Info - Keen eyesight is vital for desert survival, but without a sturdy mind anchored by a firm sense of perception, it counts for nothing against the sun’s phantoms and shifting landscape. Cressila has combined these effectively, raising field awareness and making her a master at land navigation. She can detect and adapt to environmental changes so effectively it is alike a natural reflex; is an innovative shooter able to utilize the terrain and objects around her, and can think quickly on her feet.
Weapons - Cresilla grew up on rudimentary bows and slingshots, as she matured, her arsenal expanded to include the Dragunov rifle with hollow-tipped rounds, and, on specialist missions, the AS50. Virtually any type of firearm that falls into her possession becomes a deadly tool.
Equipment - A pack containing simple medical supplies, a water skin, snare wire, dried meat, a smoothed shard of reflective glass, a small eyepiece, and a roll of stiff canvas. She keeps a small knife strapped to her thigh and about 15ft of rope wrapped around her torso in an ‘X’.
Mech - N/A
Position in the Military - N/A
History - An incessant yearning for freedom led the young girl beyond her ancestral lands, across the vast expanse of Eurasia, close to the border between the UF and the UI. Here, the heavily guarded checkpoints were spaced across the desert with a string of townships lined between and around them. A gentle creature, she could never emulate the thieving cut-throats that thrived in the shadowed underbellies, choosing instead to travel between settlements; taking what was needed and disappearing long enough to be forgotten. She struggled through the years it took to train her instincts and adapt to the highs and lows of a transient life. Ironically, the desert became her safe-haven; its foul temper and rough, ever-changing landscape protected her. In time, Cressila’s understanding of the desert developed as such that she regarded it as a living entity; she became acclimated to its moods, how it shapeshifted between many forms and, eventually, the secrets to unlocking its treasures.
As Man’s greed expanded, so did his reach, and soon her oasis came under the hungry gaze of his leaders. No longer could the desert hide behind its cloak of wild weather alone. They came in three large packs: one to study and pry, another to wrest the treasures from its belly, and the one that wore the insignia of false kings. Cressila assumed an imagined responsibility of desert protector. She skulked behind the sandy veils, targeting small and isolated groups, disposing of some and scattering the rest. Rewarded with the scraps of territory reclaimed, and whatever items she could use or donate to the struggling, desert communities, it marked her transition from nuisance to criminal.
The Brotherhood were another group of greedy Men, moving about with cloaked daggers and a sense of grandeur rivalled only by the country’s leaders. Or so she assumed. It was during a sandstorm that she’d first encountered them; a group wandering the desert, venturing farther than ones that came before them. Raiders, she thought, until they saved her from an ambush set by the expeditioning men. Intrigued by the enigmatic concept of a ‘freedom fighter’, she accepted their offer and became a sniper under their regime.

"Stars hide your fires...let light not see my deep and dark desires."
Well, I'll definitely be signing up for this one. KS has offered me the position of co-GM so I'll get my CS up soon enough.
He would be correct. That is why I am letting there be 13 instead of 12.
