IC - OOC
Name: Manius Quinctia Mergus
Social Class: Patrician
Occupation: General (Legate)
Title: Manius the Stern, General of the Fifth Legion
Appearance: Manius was known, in his youth, for being one of the most handsome patricians Rome had to offer. Even in his middle years, he’s retained the appeal of his youth - olive-coloured skin, darkened by the sun, is often kept on display by the short-sleeved shirts the General chooses to wear in his leisure time.
His facial structure is stereotypical of a soldier; a chiseled jawline, high cheekbones and a distinctly Roman nose mark him as a man who can confidently claim his lineage dates back almost to the founding of Rome itself. His dark black hair is cut in a severe, military style, and he usually shaves off any facial hair.
He stands at a fairly impressive 6’3”, with strong, broad shoulders - his arms are well muscled, hands calloused - he’s no idle politican; this is a man of action.
Personality: Manius Mergus is known for his controversial views on many important political issues - controversial in the eyes of the traditional senators, at least. He viewed Gaius Marius’ Military Reforms as genius, and is a loyal supporter of the revolutionary man from Arpinum.
Manius is a man who embraces change with open arms - so long as it benefits the Republic; benefits it in his eyes, at least. He is known for the harsh discipline he employs amongst the soldiers under his command - crucifying them for what most would consider minor offences, and mercilessly hunting down any deserters. However, despite his harsh discipline, the General is loved by his men - he cares for them, and rewards those under his command who are loyal with monetary boons, or promises of tithes of lands in Carthage and other newly conquered provinces; under the authority of Marius’ new reforms, of course.
He’s more interested in warfare than politics, but he has a sharp mind - Manius is certainly a politician to be wary of, should you rub him the wrong way.
History: Born in Rome itself, Manius lived an early life of luxury, within the manor compound owned by his immediate family. He was surrounded by slaves and servants throughout his childhood years, and even during this time, he found he had a taste for ordering people about to do his bidding.
Despite this pampering, Manius’ father took his role as paterfamilia very seriously, and took his son under his wing for at least a few hours each week - if not a few hours each day - to teach him basic reading, writing and mathematical skills - as well as taking him for walks through the city (accompanied by heavily-armed guards) so that he could learn about his homeland, and the way its society worked.
By the time he was nine, Manius’ skills in academics were already high and above those of the majority of Rome’s population, but he struggled to keep up with the skill of some of the more intelligent children his own age - sons of his father’s friends. Despite his failure in becoming a further source of gloating for his father over his friends, Manius was not ridiculed in any way - his father accepted him the way he was, and hired a tutor to take over his education from his tenth birthday onwards.
When he was fifteen, the young nobleman was gradually eased out of his easy life of poetry and writing - as well as the near-constant company of his mother - and into the world of the military and the senate. He was trained in swordsmanship and horseriding by the ex-legionaries who provided the security for his household, and developed a sense of companionship and emotional attachment to these grizzled, serious old veterans.
At the age of twenty, due to his father’s influence, Manius was assigned as tribunus laticlavius to a Governor in a Carthaginian Province, where he travelled to serve and learn under the man. It was a relatively peaceful province - a ‘soft assignment’, for the young patrician.
Manius served in the Numidian Wars in 107 BC under one of Marius’ Generals, and spent quite a bit of time with the famous man himself. Due to his dedication, hard working attitude and intelligence in the wars, Manius was awarded his own legion when Marius triumphed over Jugurtha.
Name: Marcus Cornelius Vandius
Social Class: Patrician
Occupation: Tribuni Militum (Military Tribune) Assigned under the command of Manius Quinctia Mergus.
Title (If Any): Vandius the Brave
Appearance: Marcus is a handsome and strong young man standing at 6 feet tall and weighing around 230 pounds. He has a strong muscular build, the build of an experienced Roman soldier along with the serious facial features associated with being a Legionnaire. He has short brown hair combed to the right side and a well trimmed beard covering his face. Marcus has blue, intelligent eyes and walks with a humble, yet powerful air about him. He wears his Legion armor in battle and an assortment of finely made robes of multiple colors when dealing with the Senate.
Personality: Marcus has an intelligent and charismatic personality that allows him to be well liked by many of the more refined Roman Senators. He also has a love for the battlefield and the history of his cousin family, the Scipii. Whenever Marcus is not on business, he attends the Gladiatorial arenas in whatever city he finds himself in. His love for battle and honorable blood shed makes him wish to lead a Legion of his own one day, and with his battlefield genius it seems to be a very likely future. Marcus also has a natural affinity to politics and can turn many disagreements into solutions that help whatever his cause is the most.
History: Born in the family of the Cornelia to what many consider a mediocre sect of the greater family, Marcus was not shown the attention of the Roman populace that he felt he deserved. Instead the families with more military history of the Cornelia, like his cousins the Scipio, were given special treatment in all things from military training to education. However the Vandius family was still a Patrician family and Marcus had open access to many learning assets for both his future military and political career.
By the time Marcus was 15, he was well versed in the political and military history of Rome with a special interest in the adventures of Scipio Africanus and Scipio the Younger. He studied their tactics and began advising his father on the battlefield even though he was underage to join battles for Rome. He convinced his father to purchase a Ludus (house that trains gladiators) in Rome and to send his fighters to the arena. In four years, the Vandius Ludus had gladiators fighting in the biggest fights of the arena but was unable to reach the Primus. (Main Event)
When Marcus turned 20, he began his military career and was assigned as a Tribune to the 4th Legion. He led the Legion to multiple victories against the Northern Barbarians when the Legate died in an ambush by a tribe of Gaul. He led the Legion for four years, taking three cities and four villages for Rome. However when the Senators were informed that a Tribune was leading the 4th Legion, they stripped Marcus of his command. Outraged, Marcus returned to Rome and began assisting his now retired father with the family Ludus for the next two years.
When Marcus turned 26, he was offered a spot in the 5th Legion under the command of Manius Quinctia Mergus. Marcus wanted to refuse, however his love for the battlefield and the glory received from battle got the best of him. He now serves as second in command of the Legion and awaits the day when he can once again lead his own.
Name: Tiberius Octavius Romulus
Social Class: Patrician
Occupation: Commander's Strategic Adviser
Title (If Any): None
Appearance: He stands about 6'1. 3/4 inches of dirty blonde hair. He has a medium/dark tan from working/being outside all the time. He has no facial hair. His eyes are hazel with medium sized ears. He's got wide shoulders and a well muscled body. He has a half inch scar on the left side of his cheek going horizontally and a 2 inch scar, 3 centimeters away from his right eye going vertically down heading towards his cheek bone.
Personality: He's calm headed and uses strategical thinking. He prefers to think things throw slowly rather than act rashly. He's gentle but he has his own principles that he follows. One of them being to keep his word. He loves women, he would rather spend his day with one, you could say he's a family man. He likes to give advice to people who are having their own drama or being useful in whatever way possible.
History: He is excellent with the sword and bow. His family owned a servus (a slave) named, Hamilcar. Hamilcar trained him as he grew up cause Tiberius always wanted to join the legion to fight. Tiberius didn't grow up with his mother or father. His mother died while giving birth to him, while his father died in battle. Hamilcar raised him along with his uncle, Kaeso Octavius Romulus and his aunt, Ateia Octavius Flavian. He barely remembers his father from so long ago. One of the things he does remember from his father is that he would always bump Tiberius's forehead with an open palm with a smile on his face. He knew his father was a great solider and wanted to strive for being the best strategist the legion has ever known. When Tiberius grew up he would see other Patrician families be cruel to their slaves in the streets as he passed by. On his way home he would as Hamilcar why they would do such a thing, "We're just property to them. Nothing more. Nothing less." Ever since then Tiberius always respect Hamilcar because of how intellectual he seemed to be for a slave. This gave Tiberius a motive to make Hamilcar a freedman.
For a while Tiberius thought it would be nice to own a plot of farmland away from the busy city of Rome. He considered buying a piece of land but he figured he would be away for to long to enjoy the luxuries of being alone. He'd assume he would just retire there when he starts a family. The more he grew up the more he began to realize how the world functioned in it's own way. He would analyze battle formations to the type of wood the bows were made out of, the tenacity of the metal of a blade, to the shapes of helmets to limit vision blockage.
Name: Titus Calvus
Social Class: Pleb
Appearance: Bald on top, Titus has a thick black beard and a crooked nose that is a reminder of a fight many years ago. At 5'10, Calvus is an overweight man at around 250 pounds.
Personality: Calvus styles himself as a businessman, a man who helps out those in need. He will do what he can to get people, especially the upperclass, to owe him money and favors. As nice and personable as he can be when attracting business, Calvus turns into a man of stone when a person has no use for him or owes him money. He's close with the tight knit circle of family and thugs he keeps company with, but is quick to disown or dispatch them at the first signs of disloyalty.
Titus Calvus was born in Rome to a single mother, the identity of Titus' father never been established. As a bastard, Calvus was in many fights as a child. It was through those fights that he began to make a name as a fierce combatant. At the age of 15, a man name Maro sought out Calvus for employment. Maro was a man of means in Rome, a man who lent money to those in need and provided a very special service of problem solving for the Roman elite. Acting as Maro's bodyguard, Calvus learned the art of crime. Maro became like a father figure to Calvus.
When Calvus was 25, a rival of Maro's named Rullus attacked the two men and killed Maro. Swearing vengeance, Calvus took over Maro's enterprise and gained power and influence, using any means possible to destroy Rullus' financial security and reputation. When there was nothing left, Calvus personally slit Rullus' throat.
Now, Calvus is wealthy and powerful as man who will provide any service for those who can afford him and his men. With friends in the courts, senate, and military, Calvus is one of the richest Plebs and one of the most influential men in Rome.
Name: Annia Galeria Aurelia Faustina Calavius
Social Class: Senatorial Class; Patrician
Occupation: Daughter of Senator; Widow
Title (If Any): None.
Appearance: Annia Galeria has the distinctively aristocratic and aquiline features of a highborn and purebred Roman. Her nose is distinguished, her eyes brown but bright, her hair often piled up into fashionable and distinctive styles. She carries herself with grace and has been said to be a great beauty around Rome. Her clothes are often made of rich silks and purple fabrics, and she often wears great amounts of gold - a trait that some say she adopted from her travels in Egypt. A cultured woman, she speaks Greek, Egyptian and Latin fluently and reads in Greek and Latin, as well as writing in them. She walks slenderly, with no small amount of grace, and when she does it is usually in silence, for she favours soft shoes that make no sound upon the ground as she walks. Her hair is long and auburn, and her eyes are large and the colour of hazel. While it cannot be said that she dresses in the most modest fashion, her excesses are not extraordinarily opulent nor particularly unbecoming of a woman of her status. Her mouth is thin, a severe testament to her upbringing, and when she talks it is with commanding clarity many Roman men find somewhat disarming.
Personality: Annia's personality is certainly domineering, much more so than the average Roman woman. Her status as a widow has left her under her father's control and he, as a lazy and fat man, has let her manage her own affairs as much as he can. Commanding an impressive array of slaves, she lives on her own in a large villa in Rome itself with her daughter Gallia Julianna and her son Galus Primus, and it is to them that she cares immensely. Apart from her children, she loves little except wealth and excess, and strives to improve her situation in Rome with every passing moment - through any means necessary. A learned woman, rare for her days, she has a good knowledge of the histories of Rome, Greece and Egypt as well as the philosophies of Greece and the pantheons of all three nations. She has also invested in modest business adventures - maintained through her father, of course - involving the trade of silks and spices throughout the mediterranean, allowing her to remain wealthy of her own right, even if her father takes a modest cut of her profits. She also has several senators known to her through her womanly charms, and it is often whispered that Annia Galeria pulls strings in the senate itself, much to the chagrin of other upstanding Roman women and the infuriation of fellow senators, who can do nothing in regards to their more lusty fellows.
History: Annia Galeria Aurelia Faustina Calavius was born to Senator Aurus Faustin Secondus Calavius, to a wealthy and well known Roman family. She was his first daughter and second child, the first being her elder brother Aurus Primus Calavius, who died in battle in Africa aged seventeen. She was raised in the great halls of the Calavius family, and was married to Galus Excellecus Trius aged twelve, as soon as she had bled for the first time. He was a man twenty years older than her, still young, but a battle-scarred veteran who had seen war and siege alike. He was not a kind husband to his new young wife. Commanding, abrupt, demanding, for many years Annia had felt little better than the slaves that attended her. Tartus whored and drank, and participated in many a sordid activity. Two children were borne of him and Annia - Gallia Julianna, a young sweet girl now aged twelve, and Galus Aurus Primus, aged six.
After five unhappy years of marriage, Galus Excellecus Trius was found dead in Pompeii, apparently murdered by some wench or another in revenge for his mistreatment of her sisters. Annia never bothered to look too far into her husband's death, and there were some rumours that the wild Calavius girl had ordered his murder herself. Nevertheless, she performed the correct mourning rituals, and Annia Galeria Aurelia Faustina was a widow aged seventeen. It would have been appropriate for her to have been married to another, but since the Calavius family had little to gain and the girl herself was as stubborn as a mule, the ever lazing esteemed Senator Aurus Faustin Secondus was content to let her, by and large, manage her own affairs as long as she did not mar or besmirch the long earned and esteemed family name.
So, with a well stocked household of slaves, opulences, well-given architecture and fanciful food from across the Empire, the young woman Annia Galeria began to live her life. Her children were cared for by specially designated slaves, but she often took time to visit them herself and love them as they should be loved. She had high hopes for Gallia - for the little girl was blossoming into an attractive, comely and moreover well-rounded young lady of high class, good manners and bountiful education. It would, Annia decided, be out of the realms of possibility for Gallia to marry a high ranking senator, or, indeed a consul of esteem and bountiful wealth. That would secure Annia a good life once the many fat rolls of Senator Aurus Faustin suffocated him to death. Galus Aurus, likewise, was promising to be a good and promising man. He had a knack for the sword, not the quill, and so it seemed that the family to which Annia now stood matriarch would produce a military commander as well as a consul's wife.
It is, with these ambitions for her children and for her own power in mind, that Annia moves forth.
Name: Aurus Faustin Secondus Calavius
Social Class: Senatorial Class; Patrician.
Title (If Any): Sometimes known as Aurus the Fat, or Aurus the Laze. Behind his back, naturally.
Appearance: Aurus Faustin Secondus Calavius is obviously a man who has enjoyed his life in all the ways that money could allow him to do. His gut stretches far beyond his stomach, and when he wears a toga it is stretched around him scarcely. He is clean shaven, as all civilised Roman men, and has a thick mop of bushy brown/grey hair, that often seems untamed or ungroomed. Nevertheless, he is not an ugly man - his wobbling, jowled face seems to have once held a certain degree of handsome. He always smells faintly of various perfumes, no doubt used to hide his natural sweaty scent. His hands, pudgy and moist, can often be seen fingering items of interest such as golden medallions and diamonds pendants. He, like his daughter, is almost always clad in fine silks and other clothes. Generally, an air of lazing and sloth hangs about him like a cloud, and when travels through the streets of Rome he does so in a litter carried by muscular slaves from the Africas, six of them in total, with their skin black as pitch and their arms bulking just to support this behemoth of a man. He keeps in the company of young female slaves too, who are often seen to fan him with large feathers and feed him various foods when he is not willing to feed himself. In fact, the only time any sort of animation really comes to this man is at the senate, when discussing issues he deems important, or when the prospect of making money is involved. His large, sausage like fingers are studded by sigil rings and fine amulets, and around his neck he wears a golden crest along side a silver badge of office. His nose and face are distinguished and aquiline beneath his fat, a distinguished mark of a well born Roman.
Personality: Born to an important and well distinguished family, the life of Aurus Faustin Secondus was handed to him on a golden platter - just as everything else he has ever received. While his brothers went off to serve in military positions, Aurus, pudgy and unfit as he was, was destined for a (supposedly) much less dangerous life - that of the senator. He has, henceforth, acquired a taste for the finer things in life, and has allowed his daughter Annia to engage in many a business venture through him, so long as he receives a share of the profits. It could be said that Senator Aurus Faustin Secondus has fingers in many pies, both literally and metaphorically. Rumours abound that he owns half the brothels in Pompeii and Rome, and that has ordered several assassinations through poison. He maintains an active stake in the slave trade, too, buying and selling good, strong slaves at a high marked up price and keeping those he deems fit as house slaves for him or his large family. Scarcely travelling outside of Rome, Aurus has maintained a huge wealth set to be inherited, secretly, by his daughter Annia upon his death. While it would be morally incomprehensible to many Roman men to leave one's money to a daughter, Aurus is not so thick-minded as not to realise that the only members of his family with true drive and determination to improve their standing is his long suffering, cold daughter.
History: The early life of someone like Aurus Secondus was easy. While his brothers fought in the wars as commanders and imperators, Aurus was destined to the fate of a senator in rome. Upon the death of Aurus Primus in a rival skirmish with another Italian state some years prior, Aurus had been set to inherit the formidable fortune of his father, the late Imperator Brutus Octavius Calavius. Upon doing so, the Senator began to build his influence through a mixture of bribery, assassination and strong trade links to formidably large industries such as gold, slaves and stone quarrying. His family grew richer still under the greed of Aurus Faustin Secondus, and under his tutelage they have become one of the wealthiest in Rome - if not the most well respected. He married Faustina Galeria Hypernicus, the daughter of a consul, and with her bore five children: two boys and three girls. The first boy died young, the second in battle. His daughter Annia Galeria Faustina was the true inheritor of the wily cunning of the Calavius family, and so he sought to nurture her as he would a son - for his sons were dead, and his brothers were crippled or weak willed. She became his favourite, and the young girl grew in personality until she could verbally spar with any Roman man. It had earned her many a slap.
From there, his influence has only grown due to his duel partnership with his morally reprehensible daughter, and together they have formed a team that has managed to be both cunning and wily in the delicate Roman political atmosphere. But will his greed one day betray him to vulnerability?
Social Class: Slave
Title (If Any): The Wrath of Carthage
Appearance: Hardural is a giant of a man standing at 6 and a half feet tall and weighing 300 pounds. His constant training in the Vandius Ludus shows as he has become a sheer wall of muscle. He has the dark complexion and hair of the Carthaginian people as well as their facial features. He wears his hair short, in the style of a Roman but has a rough beard coming off his chin. Hardural is know to smile when in the heat of battle and with such a reputation, walks with a sense of power that no slave should have.
Personality: Hardural believes in honor in battle and nothing else. He holds no grudge with the Romans for destroying the land of his not so distant ancestors, in fact he believes that they were destined to win because they were the stronger warriors. Hardural is completely loyal to his master, Marcus, and will do absolutely anything to bring glory to his name. He fights with such a pride that Marcus once told him that he "Should have been born a Roman." This brought Hardural absolute joy.
History: Hardural was born into slavery and has never seen his renowned homeland. He grew up as a farm hand outside of the Roman city, Tarentum (Southern Italy, just west of Greece) and therefore became strong at a young age. He held absolute loyalty to his mother who had raised him by herself after his father was sold to another Roman noble. However, his mother was brutally beaten one night for stealing the Dominus' (slave master's) cup when he was 15. It was a crime that the Dominus had no proof of the action.
Hardural was sold to a passing merchant on the way to Rome at the age of 20. For years he was handed from master to master until he was bought by Marcus Cornelius Vandius. Marcus had told him that he saw a fire in his eyes and that a man like Hardural should be pleasing the masses with blood in the Gladiatorial Arena.
Hardural was trained as one of the first ever recruit in the Vandius Ludus, and he was also the very first in the Ludus to win a fight in the arena. He has fought and won 10 fights in the arena so far and is the champion of the Vandius Ludus. However, like his master he dreams of more glory. His dream is to one day become the champion of Rome and be able to scream to the gods that he is strong unlike his defeated ancestors.

Personality: Elicia is extremely uptight, but not one to follow rules. She's got a sharp tongue and normally lets her emotions get in her way when it comes to things. She isn't too fond of not going with plans. She has a short temper.
Symbol: A small plain black star beneath her left eye.
Your 'soulmate': Jason Muller [Unaware]
Side: Doves of War
Bio: Jason was born to a fairly rich family, though he hated his whole genetic symbol thing. He had been taking Jutisu, Tae-Kwon-Do, Krav Maga, and Kung Fu since he could walk, so the boy is immensely trained at fighting in close quarters. He works out alot and went to the shooting range with his father. Where he learned how to fire a gun with pretty good accuracy. Jason always had a rebellious streak, and constantly was involved in outcries against the government. Which lead to his getting arrested and put in a prison camp where the government thought they had gotten rid of the 'thorn' in their side. Though they never thought him much of a threat. All that is about to change.
Personality: Jason has a tough guy outer shell and seems to be kind of cold and anti-social. This is a facade that he uses everyday to hide the fact that he is actually a person who has many deep emotions and feelings. Once he feels committed and attached to something Jason will stop at nothing in order to achieve his goal. He is highly intelligent and very loyal. Beneath his emotional armor, he is actually a kind, caring, and romantic individual. Though he is convinced he doesn't have a soul mate so is a bit sad about that. He just wants to find the girl, but also wants to change how much the government controls.

But there's something no one knows, she's actually a fairly sweet girl, she cares for those who care about her, but she finds the only way she can express this is through being a hot tempered loud mouth.

Bio: Rossault lived a normal life before the government started stamping people with these symbols. He was much more positive when he saw that people could go and do as they please with the affairs of love and compassion. After Rossault was nearing his retirement at the age of fifty seven, his wife sadly passed away. Knowing the day would come; he wishes that he leave his mark or do something right for this world before he left to join his beloved wife. No symbol was the cause of his love between him and his wife, they were young lovers. At a young age, taking the non-serious option to life and as they grew older with a larger knowledge towards life, settled down and spent evenings in parks or at home watching television in each others arms. While his wife was in a better place, he didn't take much notice to dazzle himself up for the ladies like he did when he was younger due to the fact he already found his soul mate and he was waiting to be with her once more. His shabby beard and his dusty wrinkled face symbolized a lack of care towards his appearance but at the same time gave him a sort of wise look towards himself. Living at home alone was lonely but he took the time to arrange outings to the park and feed the birds or even on a slightly less common occasion stand up for what's right and in his eyes it is wrong to force people to love someone, to harness the emotions of what makes humans, humans. After his wife past away he paid more attention to the stress that was sometimes flared off by young women who would ask their mothers who would they love and other questions you wouldn't usually ask while being free from the clutches of what Rossault likes to call "Stamps". Recently Rossault heard news that the Doves Of War is rising in number and taking the time to think about it, he decides it's time to show the world what a lonely old man can do.
Personality: He will shield and protect anyone he see's as vulnerable from danger. Stands up for what's right. Is sometimes serious but other times calm and compassionate. Has a strange respect for the younger recruits of the Doves Of War. Takes time to think and analyse before activating a plan. Doesn't let his emotions get in the way of silly things. A pretty laid back guy sometimes.
Symbol: Black rose on the back of the neck.

Quote: How can humans make something so natural, to something so unnatural?
Name: Griffin Nash Ford
Side: Doves of War
Bio: He grew up with his family not knowing much about the world or why they had symbols on the right shoulder blade. His parents didn't seem like the couple they showed on movies or TV. They didn't seem to like or love each-other, more like to tolerate each other, an impulse of some kind rather than real love. As he grew up he began to understand why his parents were like that. Everything started to make sense and he couldn't stand that thought. He felt like he needed to make a difference in the world, to make it more natural.
Personality: Calm. He's a big thinker and likes to think things through, he doesn't like pressure but he can handle it pretty well while making a logical decision. He doesn't talk very much and would rather observe detail. He doesn't like to lie or keep secrets but he will if he has too.
Your 'soulmate': (Undecided girls help me? <3)
Game CharacterName: Troy Russ Tell
Personality: He's outgoing, confident, he's got a great sense of humor. He has a nerd side of playing video games at home all day rather than spending the day with friends. He doesn't mind going out once in a while.
BackgroundWIP) As he grew up he moved around a lot because his father was in the military. He had to be quick to make friends and be out going. When they were getting ready to move, he would sit on his computer in his room as they prepared for the next move. When his father had spare time he would sit by him and play games with him. He didn't get to see his dad very often but when he did he was excited to hear about his stories.
Activity Pledge: I can post every 3 days at least.
"How is it natural selection when you're gonna only meet 1/100 of the people in the world in a city, state, country?" Griffin argued and continued, "If people couldn't get those people in the first place why should they now. Everyone goes through heartbreak either it be a relationship or a death. It happens and always will. It's whatever though, everyone has a right to their own opinions. I'll just keep mine to myself. I'm Griffin. Sorry, I'm passionate about my beliefs." Griffin relaxed and looked at his bed across the barracks, then looked back and saw Jason putting his knife on his bed, "If I see that your hot headed I'll have to take that knife away from you to prevent incidents, but I agree, I don't know you very much but I can tell your definitely not the worst person in the world." He said with a weak smile and turned back to his bed and pointed, "That's my bed down the room. I need to get going though, I need to send doctors to all the gun shot victims." Griffin started to walk swiftly as he headed out of the barracks. He didn't know what to think of Jason, but so far he seemed like a good guy. He didn't seem very threatening or violent but we'll have to see. Griffin is usually a pretty good judge of character but there's always those people that you can't read very well, one of them being Jason. As Griffin was about head out of the barracks door he tapped his hand against the metal post of a barracks bed making a ting sound smiling slightly. When he was little he would always drum on anything he could find be it a desk; bed pole's, pans, pencils, rocks. Griffin turned back to Jason, "You're welcome follow me if you like. Entirely up to you." He finished and slowed to his pace just in-case Jason wanted to follow.
