I'm really intrigued by this. No questions as of yet, but would like to take part if possible.
WOD, World of Darkness, New Orleans, Hitchcockian, Thriller, Mystery, Adventure
This is to see if anyone would be interested in a WOD rp. Myself and Luned will be co-running it, so shoot either of us a question via pm or here. Below are some tidbits of what we're working on so far, but there will be a lot more added once the OOC goes up.
To wet your whistle, here are a few highlights you can look forward to should you join:
-Each room in the Rising Sun Plantation has a secret. A hint will be provided for each in the OOC and players will choose their character's room first come first serve.
-Outside of the room mysteries, something else very strange is happening at the Rising Sun. It stands between your players and the world of darkness.
-All players start out as human, but there will be opportunities to join different supernatural factions along the way, but joining the darkness has its consequences.
-Secret clues sent to your character via pm which can be shared or withheld from other players.
-1993
-New Orleans
-Former plantation named The Rising Sun, now turned into a bed and breakfast.
-High-Casual rp.
There is a house in New Orleans, they call the Rising Sun, and it’s been the ruin of many a poor boy, and God, I know I’m one.
You begin your story as a human, but no matter what choices you make, you’ll be less of one by the time you leave.
For one reason or another, your life has brought you to the Rising Sun this exact moment in time, and your life will never be the same. The moment you stepped across the white washed porch and into the musty interior of the former plantation, you began your journey into the world of darkness. You will see things many humans will never even catch a glimpse of and it will put your sanity to the test. Do you hold onto your human convictions or do you cave in and become one with the supernatural. This is a story about morality, change and perseverance. This is your story.

“Have you guessed the riddle yet?” the Hatter said, turning to Alice again.
“No, I give it up,” Alice replied: “What’s the answer?”
“I haven’t the slightest idea,” said the Hatter

I am a huge fan of WoD, I would love to take part in something like this.
PARDON OUR DUST
Haha, I'm in the process of creating an RP also set in a bayou town. It's hopefully going to be all about bizarro characters and voodoo. Just thought I'd make sure you know now in case you think I'm ripping off your idea later on in the week.
I'm interested in joining yours too though! Would you be willing to add a nearby bar/restaurant to the world? I'd like to play a promiscuous fortune teller who sells sex and sings cabaret at the local bar.

It seems like we might end up with more characters than slots available, so I'd like to get your guys' opinion on something. Would you rather
-Everyone post a general idea of what their character would be like and Luned and I will pick the ones that will best fit the plot until we run out of spot.
-Everyone post complete character sheets and the first however many slots we have go to the first approved sheets
-Everyone write a one paragraph writing sample in the genre and Luned and I choose based on that.
Punky: Thank for the interest!
Edon: awesome, let me know if you have any ideas.
simian: No worries, there's plenty of bayou to go around. The plantation is on the edge of New Orleans, and in the basic map I'm making there will be a restaurant and a bar, but all characters start off as human, no special abilities. So she'd have to be a fake fortune teller if she's accepted, but she could become a real one over time if that works.
Everyone post complete character sheets and the first however many slots we have go to the first approved sheets.
The second option works for me.

dang! Did I manage to miss out on this?
This is my fav Roleplay that I'm playing right now. Great writers and zombies. what more could you ask for?
You didn't miss a thing. : )
I'm working on the OOC and it should be up in a day or two, so plenty of time for people to get interested. I think we'll have room for 3 female characters and 3 male.
I'm interested.
