The Batman is a living legend; equal parts revered and feared by the citizens of Gotham City. His war on crime has been going strong for over a decade, and never before in the city's history has organized crime or petty crime rates been lower than they are today. Despite archvillains like the Joker, Two-Face, and Mr. Freeze the city remains a better place than it was before the arrival of the city's favorite legend.
But even as the Batman is Gotham City's favorite legend, he is not the city's only legend. In the shadows of the ancient city an old presence stirs, whispering words unheard in Gotham for nearly a century:
"Beware the Court of Owls, that watches all the time, ruling Gotham from a shadow perch, behind granite and lime. They watch you at your hearth, they watch you in your bed, speak not a whispered word of them or they'll send the talon for your head."
Game Details
- This game will not follow the exact story of the canon DC event 'Night of Owls'. The basic premise will be the same, and will act as our launch point.
- Canon and non-canon characters welcome.
- Some canon characters are part of the game's plot, and have specific roles to play. These characters, however, will still be open for application.
- Advanced standards.
- This game is part sandbox, part story driven.
- Not looking for a lot of players for this. Three to four, at most.
