    Psshhh. Saying "it's raining spiders" makes it sound like they're all actually falling down to the earth in a sort of downpour. You know, like rain. But they're not raining down on people, they're just suspended up there. I wouldn't call this "raining spiders".

    How so? I find my title makes use of only minor hyperbole, at least in my humble opinion 'hundreds of spiders overhead' is some cause for alarm.
