Dante was staring at the keys laying in his hand. He had no idea what they went to his father had merely told him "Protect the children, these keys will unlock many ancient secrets." The keys felt like an immense weight on his hand. It was suggested they start in Nevada. He headed to the door to the compound looking out the windows.

Brian was like normal totally zoned out of the "real" world, and truing to fix a few things in an AI program that he had been working on improving for the last several years (since about 8), twitching the programmed voice so that it would have a better ability to ascent the way it was speaking so it could adapt to diffident languages. There was still plenty of things that worn't working or not good enough for his standards but to the mind of a regular human it was a work of marvels, you could ask it questions and plenty of them wore correct as long as they wore ones that it know such as math and science ones it could read righting and decider simple codes mainly because it needed that ability to recognize hand written things.

Phinix was burning, nothing unusual in fact she was siting in middle of a bonfire and absorbing the warmth, it was her version of showering, and allot more effective when the fire is extremely hot only disadvantage is the fact that she had to hold her breath for long periods of time a skill she learned quickly. after stepping out for the tenth time she went ahead and started to change back into her clothes (which are not fire proof).

Drake was looking at his hand. "Alright lets see what I can do with you." he said to himself. He balled his hand into a fist and squeezed his muscles causing his arm to to go into it's armor form. He looked at it and smiled. "Alright let's see what you got" He reared back and punched the cement wall knocking a huge chunk out of it. He shook his hand feeling the initial pressure from the punch but not really any pain at all. Drake then looked like he was almost admiring his arm "Not bad not bad at all." he smirked to himself. Drake then made his arm go back to normal and there still seemed to be no damage to it. "I've had this power stuff for years and every time that scares the shit out of me." he laughing.

Alexis walked up behind Drake and wrapped her arms gently around his waist. She pulled him closer trying to get his attention. She wanted to whine like she always did just to get him to notice her more than just what she was. Her own power kind of hiccupped causing her to accidently radiate unimaginable pain. Her power didn't make her immune so she dropped to teh floor screaming.

Dante stared out those windows attempting to find sense as he knew they wouldn't be able to stay here more than 2 days at the most this is a government facility. "I guess i should get everyone out soon." He said to himself and sighed.

having walked out of the room set up for her "shower", Phoenix went over to the main room which she had to go through to get to her personal room. hearing Alexis scream she turned and at the same time felt the tempiture drop, she turned up the rooms tempiture to about ninety degrees in a matter of seconds but made sure to delay the heat getting to Alexis for about ten seconds intentionally, so that the girl would learn to control her powers. "learn to control your powers I'm tired of fixing your mistakes idiot, did a bunch of your brain cells die form being frozen for a few years" she said to the girl in a loud annoyed (bitchy) voice from across the room before tuning and going into the corridor that lead to her room.

Drake felt arms wrap around him then piercing pain cover his body. "Son of a bitch!" he yelled as he went down to his knees. When he turned to see what hurt him he met the eyes of Alexis. As soon as he saw the little girl in pain he immediately regretted his statement while he was in pain. "Alexis I'm so sorry I don't mean to yell at you" he said trying to comfort her. Then he heard Pheonix yell at her. Drake turned to her angrily grinding his teeth making his arm go armored again. "I will beat you to a pulp hothead leave her alone. Plus I bet you wouldn't be such a bitch to her if Dante was here." he said. Drake felt like a older brother at this moment. Before Alexis was picked for batch Drake had already been through it a while. Dante was always away usual for military reasons cause of being in the first batch. So since Drake was good friends with Dante he looked after Alexis.

As Phoenix finished her remark and headed to her room, she bumped in to Waylon. He was leaning against the wall, not even looking at her; staring at the bottom of the opposite wall with a smirk on his face.

"Now now Pheonix," he called.

His voice was feint, and controlled. His lips barely moving as he whispered in to her ears from five feet away. Of all their powers, his may very well be the creepiest.

"-don't be so condescending. You're not exactly at the front of power control yourself"

Now, he looked up to her face. Allowing her only response to be the motion of the words she formed on her lips. He could not hear a voice without seeing the speaker, which allowed him the choice of whether or not he would allow others to be able to speak to him. A very useful tool against one with such a fiery temper.

Knowing that Waylon had intentionally bumped her Phoenix turned around and spiked his body tempiture which would have him sweating buckets of water "we mister I can talk to you from half way across that room without anybody else hearing than totally ignore you, I have plenty of control over my powers and do things with intent and it only goes quote n quote out of control, is when I let it." She stated so that it would be heard through out the room.

Stalking to her room she heared part of the locking mechanism until the door clicked open this prevented people from getting into her private area since any other way would get them first and second degree burns only Dante and the doctor could get in and Dante could get in only if there was an emergency. Closing the door behind her she went over to her bed and created a small ball of plama and had it do an implode explode cycle.

Waylon almost followed after the girl but could smell the searing metal on her door. He took this spout of apparent anger and considered it a victory to him on annoying her. There was nothing more for him in this hallway besides a burnt hand so he stepped out to check on the others. Waylon ignored Drake and Alexis; that situation didn't need any intervening from him, and instead turned his focus towards Dante.

Dante appeared to be headed toward the compound door, walking with meaning in his feet. Waylon held a bit of curiosity and walked beside him, making sure he was able to see his mouth. It was unsure whether or not the answers he sought might be private matters, so Waylon once again used his whisper.

"In a hurry, Sir?"

Dante looked at one of the children, Waylon, The kid is deaf from his power. He made sure he was looking straight at Waylon when he began to speak. "We have to leave soon i need to you start gathering everyone up tell them to head to the garage on basement level 3. I will take care of Pheonix, Drake and Alexis, If you will take care of the others." He then turned away and said to himself "May the Night forever guard the Dawn." It was the motto of the program.
