Any form of discrimination is appaling and plain stupid. The fact that you live in china should not manner. I suppose this person must have felt "all chinese are communists, all communists are evil." Wich in itself is both racist and bigotry. I'd pay it no mind, find a new game and move on. You can atleast rest assure that you are likely a better person then him or her.

So, I think my title says it all. I just got rejected flat out for a RP because I happen to live in China. The dude was all like: 'You're in China, it wont work'.

And I was like: 'D: Dude. Not cool.'

Not really, I thanked them for PMing me back and now I feel bad. I didn't think people avoided me because of where I live. But now I that it has been pointed out, I feel sad. How many more people don't talk/RP with me because I'm in China?

I don't think anyone really was discriminating due to nationality or anything.

I think it comes down to "RP is active during X time, you're active during Y time, it would either mean having to put it on hold for a little so you can come on, or you getting left behind horribly while others are active."

Just keep looking. People are active during all times of day, just make it apparent what times you're around or look for a slightly slower paced one.
