Mechanical Soul Drive: Green

The hiss of the door opening wakes you up. You step out of the pod like device you were sleeping in, looking around, not a single thing coming up when yo try to remember who or where you are. You look around, finding yourself in a desolate lab of some sort, broken glass and broken tools all over. And...what appears to be a a young man laying on a table. As you walk over to him, you hear.....something....thundering in the distance. Paying it no mind, you try to awake the boy, to no avail. He's...cold, and stiff. Most likely....dead. Distressed, you turn around to leave... As the wall before you collapses, a mechanical monster bursting through, it's optics settling on you. A flash of energy fires form it's mouth, hurtling at your position. Right then, you know you're facing certain death, your hearts stopping.


Then you feel yourself being grabbed, the dead boy moving his arms around your waste. He jumps, high into the air, clearing over the beast, and he runs, getting you to safety. After what seems like forever, you stop, and he sets you down. His eyes are a dull gray, flat and lifeless. He then says one thing, in a robotic and monotone voice, and through it sounds odd, it sets you at ease.

"Don't worry, I'll protect you."

The boy turned around, looking around the room. Looking like some sort of storage closet, there wasn't a lot to be used in there. "Try to keep the volume of your voice low." The boy said, pressing his "ear" up against the door. "I need to listen or it, to be ready when it attacks." He explained, his gray eyes darting back to the one that was saved.

Looking at him now, what had seemed like "skin" was really just flesh colored metal plating, arranged in the shape of a human. His face, however, looked perfectly human. The only thing of clothing he had was black pants, with... something extremely hair like, black in color, on his head. "Are you okay? I understand the suddeness of my grabbing of you, and such a high jump and quick movement, can be stressful to humans."

"I-i'm ok." Reisling said watching him. She ran a hand through her short black hair, she had no idea where she was or what was going on. "I don't remember anything before waking up..." She said softly, her heart was pounding and it was hard to think. She looked at the boy, she wasn't sure what to think of him.

"Good. Not good." He said, the first good in response to her being okay, the second being to her not remembering anything. "AI will search my databanks for your info." He said, suddenly freezing

"Not good. Not Good." He said, the first to his corrupted files, the second due to the sound of the ever nearing machine. "I am gong out to face it. You stay here. Is this alright?"
