They're kicking at eachother, and blocking the kicks. They would then follow up with their weapons in hand. Spike would hit Mugen's hilt and fire off a shot to the right of his head, and Mugen's sword would either be close to Spike's head, or slightly graze him. They would then jump back, share a little grin, and run at each other. Mugen would go in low with his legs, trying to take Spike down. Spike would jump up, and use Mugen to lift him up in the air. He'd aim his gun and fire one or two shots. Mugen would dodge them, probably dashing off to his left, since he's right handed and it would be too predictable to dodge off to the right. Mugen would land a kick to Spike's chest, knocking him down, but Spike would recover just in time to kick away Mugen's sword hand, stunning him for a moment. He'd then get off a punch or two to either Mugen's face, or his chest.
Spike would say, "Heh, for a guy with a sword you're impressive." Mugen would come back with, "You're an idiot for not killing me right here. I'm going to show that to you." Mugen would rush in and try and grab Spike with his free hand, Spike would then grab Mugen's arm, and curl it around him, putting Mugen's back to him. Spike would then say, "You're going to have to try a lot better to kill me." Then he'd kick him forward, quickly grabbing a cigarette and lighting it. He'd then wink at Mugen when he turned back around to face him.
I had way too much fun imagining this to that point.
