Order of The Oni Idea

You wake up in a bed. Not your bed, but a cot. You look around the room you're in. You notice a samurai sword on the wall to your right, its hilt inlaid with gold and wrapped in black cloth. In front of you is a sliding door, and you see strange shapes walking past, and they seem to have horns, little wings, and even tails! You wonder if you are dreaming, but it seems not. To be honest, you can't remember anything before this moment. And then you hear it: the voice of an old man. "You like your surroundings?", the voice asks. He seems really close... then you glance to your left and see him. He wears a black robe, ornamented with red and purple designs, similar to what the eastern wise men of the Emperor wear. And when you look at his head, you're shocked. He has horns protruding from his forehead. How does he not wonder that!? Before you have time to tell him, he speaks once more. "Would you like to see how YOU look?" he chuckles... And then steps to the side to reveal a mirror...

Well, this is what I have so far, as to fill you in. We start out knowing nothing. If there are older members of the Order, they teach you what you need to know. There are different types of Oni clans. An Oni, to explain it shortly, are humans with animal traits. Not to mention, parts of animals attached to the skin, like tails and wings.

The list of Oni clans are as follow, along with their place in society:
- Bat, espionage
- Wolf, police force
- Bear, soldiers
- Shark, police force
- Horse, craftsmen
- Bull, craftsmen
- Hawk, espionage
- Fox, advisors
- Snake, craftsmen
- Tiger, soldiers
- Dragon, royals
As you create a character later on, you will choose a clan. You can't be mulitple, obviously. So, you know, join up.

I'm interested =3 and by 'later on', did you mean we make a character, and sometime 'later' we end up choosing out clan? Or is that still chosen from the start somehow? XD

I'm guessing something like the 'dragons,royals' are restricted =P never hurts to make sure ^.^ *happens to have a thing for dragons aside from just being cool and considered powerful XD*

And if you want to be a dragon, go for it. I made that clan so people could have a character in it. I prefer Bat, since, well Batman.

oh =3 Lovely, Then I call a dragon now ^.^ and there's actually several clans I like the sound of =3 bats included XD but dragon stuff is always high on my list =3
