Finneon bursts out of its pokeball and splashes into the water. It races towards the Psyduck with great speed, The Psyduck who is bending down foraging for food is hit hard with Finneons pound attack. Psyduck crashes down off its rock perch and into the water. It re surfaces with an angry look on its face. "PSY! DUCK, DUCK, DUCK!" The Psyduck takes close aim at the attacking Finneon and lets off a strong water gun attack. Finneon stays put, not even trying to move out of the way. The water gun attack crashes right smack into Kaytons Finneon. Finneon opens its eyes and glares back at the wild Psyduck with a look of great confidence. Finneons storm drain ability allows it to absorb all water-type moves to increase its Sp. attack. Finneon blasts out a powerful water gun attack back at the Psyduck. The attack hits dead on, the wild Psyduck floats on the surface of the water no doubt ready to be caught.

Aries see's the Whismur wandering around, with her heart set on capturing it she sends her Sapheal out to use powdered snow attack. Sapheal lets out a cold blast of icy wind towards the Whismur who dose not see it coming at all. The frosty attack hits taking doing some damage. The Whismur spots Sapheal and charges in, the wild Pokémon uses uproar. The Whismur slaps, scratches, hits, bites and thrashes around causing a good amount of damage to Sapheal. Sapheal who saw Kaytons Finneon use water gun before tries to copy the move. Sapheal sprays a torrent of water into the air to test its newly found power. Awesome Sapheal learned Water gun attack!

"Nice work Finneon!" Kayton shouted gleefully, he took out a spare Pokeball and threw it towards the dazed Psyduck, after the Pokemon vanished inside the ball Kayton smiled confidently while it rocked back and forth. "Easy pickings."

Kaytons freshly tossed pokeball wiggles on the ground once, twice and then three times. The ball glows red for one instant before returning to normal. Psyduck has caught.
Dexter yells over towards Kayton, " Nice work ! A Psyduck, and it looked like it was a pretty strong one." Dexter gives Kayton a thumbs up before returning to his search.

Dexter wanders around the side of the trail near the grass and looks for wild Pokémon when his attention is drawn down the trail a ways. A male backpacker wearing a tan short sleeve shirt, army green cargo shorts with some brown hiking shoes on walks towards him. The backpacker waves over at Dex and shouts, "Hey you, kid with the tattoos! You up for a Pokémon battle?" Dexter crooks his eye brows responding "The names Dex, and sure I'm down for a battle."

The two trainers make there standoff in the center of the trail. "Shall it be a single battle, each get three Pokémon?" "Sounds good to me. I warn you though I have been training a lot lately! I choose you, Slugma!" The Hiker responds. He tosses his greatball out and a fiery Slugma pops out landing on the battle field. Dexter grabs a greatball from his waist and tosses it out into the battle. Dexters Beldum pops out hovering above the ground. "Beldum, Bel" The hiker shouts out, "Slugma use yawn!" The Slugma opens its mouth wide and lets out a white puff cloud that disperses into the air like a vapor. Beldum seems unaffected so far. "Beldum use take down!" Beldum rushes forwards and crashes into the Slugma sending it tumbling backwards. Slugma gets back up and shakes off the hit. "Now Slugma use Ember!" The Slugma blasts out three small fire balls and sends them towards Beldum. "Beldum dodge it!" Beldum swiftly hovers out of the way missing the attack. Beldum suddenly crashes to the ground and starts to snore, sound asleep. "Darn, the Yawn attack from earlier has put Beldum to sleep. Beldum c'mon back, GO Rufflet!" Dexter sends out his Rufflet who zooms into the air awaiting its command.

((Meanwhile))
Aries and the Whismur continue there battle, as the others look for wild Pokémon.

Alex smiles as he begins walking through the grass scanning every pokemon he sees into his pokedex. When he runs across a Meowth he throws his pokeball out releasing Blazed. "Alright Blazed hit Meowth with an ember attack and follow up with a scratch!" Blazed nods her head in approval and charges towards the Meowth charging up and ember attack and releasing it sending it flying towards the wild pokemon. As the battle is begging Alex pulls a pokeball out of his pack and waits for the right time to attempt to catch the Meowth.
