Character you have created: Kassidy LaRouche
Speech Color: Black as Kassidy, as Smoke
Character Alignment: Walking the Line
Character Personality (Give information on how your character acts, what he/she believes in, how they handle situations): The defining character trait of Smoke is his aloof behavior. He's sly jokes and spitfire sarcasm make it hard to figure out what he truly feels under his callous tongue. There is obviously a series of ulterior motives in the way he treats others, and holds himself, and he isn't too picky about keeping that fact to himself. Most see this as arrogance or stupidity, which might be true. He can usually be found scheming aloud, or simply rattling silly banter to himself. Should you back him into a proverbial corner however, a very vindictive soul can be found, a soul that very much likes to have his way, moral or not.
Uniform/costume: Smoke usually dresses in shades of black, and wears many articles of clothing to help him assume a more presentable form. While forming facial features and limbs comes easy for him, retaining them presents a challenge. This leaves his smoke-like form to inhibit bundles of clothes in a constant state of change, vaguely human.
Kassidy LaRouche was once an agent of a secret government agency. This did not entitle the espionage gun toting slick moves one might expect. Rather, Kassidy pushed buttons, ran errands, and generally gathered and distributed data for the fancy experiments and projects his agency was doing. Sensitive information was his forte, and always was. So when such an experiment when awry and disintegrated an entire research facility, a facility Kassidy was working in, it was swept under the rug as an industrial accident. Everyone was presumed dead. Everyone was dead, except LaRouche it seemed. His atomic template had been wiped and warped into the shapeshifter he is now. As far as the world knows, the desk clerk Kassidy LaRouche died when the 'Oil Refinery' he was doing paperwork for exploded. He knows that, and uses that to his advantage.
Since then, Smoke(as his contacts know him as) has used the knowledge and skills he gained before the accident to start a new life. What that entails isn't quite known to him yet.

Power Level (Select one below):
3. World Level
Powers (Be Specific): Kassidy's atomic state has been shifted to a unorganized and unstable gaseous form. While he retains complete and willful control over his matter, his atomic bonds are ephemeral at best. He is in a constant state of atomic disintegration, loosing and gaining subatomic particles eternally. This makes him appear usually as a cloud of smoke, though he can shift his form into dangerous appendages, curious tendrils, and defensive mists. He can change the density of his form as well, shrinking to the size of a coin or disbanding into a room of haze(shifts in density can also be used to change color, which he has quickly learned to imitate objects and beings for limited periods of time). This makes him extremely elusive and agile, but also extremely defensive based.

What can you bring to the RPG?:
This character will provide a moral compass to my other character.
Playing a defensive and elusive protagonist interests me.
His skills may prove useful for the rest of the cast.
Do you know how to post pictures on RPG boards?:
It was such a strange feeling, being there and yet not all in the same moment for Kassidy. Only his conscious will had his fingers, or at least finger like appendages, fly across the keyboards situated in front of him. Tendrils of de-atomising haze ebbed off his humanoid frame as he his form leaned over the workstation. It's eerie glow of half a dozen monitors cut through his less constitutioned appendages as he did so. Save for the light of his computers, Kassidy's ephemeral form was left in the dark to his own devices. Clicks and clacks, swipes and pings, all gave him satisfaction in their monotonous approach. He was an orchestrator, a thinker, a planner, and a schemer. And if one could imagine a pillar of smoke smiling, that's what you would see hovering behind those large glowing monitors.
His plans were going well. His contacts were gathering all the necessary bits of the puzzle. Soon Smoke would have to leave comfy little sanctuary and start putting the pieces into motion. He hadn't much tested out himself like that even before the accident, let alone now. He still had trouble trying to forget what meals were like. But a few stings and outside operations had acclimated him to the challenges of blending into society now. Or at least scurrying in the gutters. He never did like that part though.Something however caught his attention.
The snake like tendril poofed into whisps before being sucked back into the main form of Kassidy, leaving in its wake a freshly crushed rodent. The rats were not very quick learners compared to the old lab mice he used to know so well. No matter, soon he'd do some learning of his own.
