    Starchildren; War of Balance

For each emotion, there is an essence. For every essence, there is a starchild.

Children of the stars, created by the very fabric that designed the balls of gas- Each one, contains the embryo of a starchild. When that star dies, the Starchild is birthed, and in the resulting supernova, the Starchild is sent to a dimension away from there own- Where they are to develop there powers. The are ageless as the stars themselves- Living up to billions of years without wane of age- And are allowed to take any form they choose. They are exceptionally wise, though, this clouds their judgement, they assume they are the most intelligent, which is many of their downfalls.

Physically, they can assume any ability they wish- Though most choose to play weak, as to show off there pure mental abilities- mentally, there powers are beyond anything of mortal comprehension, as each starchild embodies an essence of an emotion- From love, to happiness, to sadness, to anger. Millions of different emotions, millions of different Starchildren. Of course, one is not bound by the emotion they choose- No, many starchildren can possess the essence of happiness, and there are plenty of 'common' and 'uncommon' essences. They are able to use these powers as they see fit, and have an infinite amount of time to practice and learn different skills- The only limit is their patience, and lack of arrogance.

All Starchildren develop different abilities, but due to his constant fighting within his own mind, and his own prison, his emotions have been crafted as an offensive weapon in most cases.

Starchild Emotions- Although not directly, Starchildren can indirectly cause there primary emotions and essence onto whatever they wish- Though, those strong of heart and willpower can easily block such an ability.

Tense Essence- Each Starchilds essences are drained as they use there powers and abilities, aside from basic Starchild Emotions. To regain Essence, they must feel the specific emotion they possess around them- For instance, those who use happiness as there emotion, those around them must be happy for them to gain power. The more people that are happy, the stronger the Starchild becomes. There is no limit to this strength, though there is a limit to its range, depending on the abilities of the Starchild. Starchildren can "lock" essence in them for later use, but the amount stored heavily depends on how long that Starchild has trained it to be.

Once they have developed their powers, they are free to roam the universe and do as they see fit- But most of all, they must balance what essence they are given... If one takes over the other, the universe itself could collapse into darkness.

This RP is based around Starchildren, basic demigods fighting in space and different dimensions to balance the emotions of the universe. Battles can be anything from simple games of friendly chess to massive battles over massive planets~! Alien species abound!

Of course, there are multiple human civilizations, humans being the usual prominent race in the universe, some are advanced to beyond dimensional travel, others, like the humans of earth, just have modern day technologies. Each Starchilds goal is to balance the emotions of a planet, which in turn increases the universal balance- If the scales are tipped too far in either direction, it could end in a disaster similar to the likes of the big bang- However, most, if not all Starchildren are clouded and greedy, and will fight to make sure their particular essence takes over most of the universe~!

Any questions? Comments, ideas? Toss em in the pot~!

Well, there was the idea for a Starfather and Starmother (Negative and Positive essences respectively) But I was planning on making them NPCs... though, if you can prove to me you have what it takes, my mind may be changed....

Hmm. Some interest... I'll need about 4 or so more before I'll feel safe to release an OOC.
