We figure 'twas about time this thread was thrown in here... We've been thinking for a good while that we ought to show off some of the things we've made, but never quite gotten around to it before...

Currently we've been making a few maps. Other times we go for character models in full 3D. Then occasionally terrain models.

Map 1
Map of a high-fantasy world of our own making.
It would take a person travelling at normal pace about 7 weeks to go from the Settled Capital to the nearest Settled hold.

Map 2
This map shows the same world, only with each settlement/society's zone of influence marked out.

Map 3
This third map is of a world we're still only beginning to assemble.
(yes, we reused some elements like the key)

All three maps were made in Gimp.

We had to link rather than post images due to dimensions.

Any comments? Thoughts? Critical suggestions?

working on a bit of a signature right now...

anyone got any commments on it? Our intent is to cut it down quite a bit once we're satisfied with the render.
