FF: The Waiting Kingdom Plot:

The once great land of Laceratus has, in recent history, become defiled and corrupt. It used to be a land of peace, commerce and heroism. Ruled by a great man by the name of “The Don”; he was a man who cherished honesty and loyalty, he inspired many. But those days did not last for The Don became very ill very quickly. It was an illness that baffled every doctor and before long he perished. Still, many remained hopeful, for he had a son, his name was Emile and he was next in line to be emperor. However the land and its people quickly sunk into dark times by the men who truly control it. Each of the races is living almost completely in segregation now and commerce has begun to get worse and worse, even among the Moogles. Monsters have been growing more and more violent over the years and merchants are having a harder time reaching the more secluded outposts. Not only that but for reasons unbeknownst to even Zethians, technology has begun to fail us. We are unable to use or make it anymore and this resulted in the Human economy plummeting and poverty swallowing up the people. Humans have been enslaved by now superior races due to their lack of will from the Don’s death. The famed capital of humans, Westeros has almost completely fallen under the corrupt hands of his majesty’s advisor. Very few know of him and even fewer know him personally and at this point not a single man has begun to suspect him. This is where we find our heroes, perhaps the last of a dying breed. They have all found themselves in Westeros though for different reasons, one cause will unify them all. If anyone can work together to end this chaos and once and for all bring back peace throughout the land, it is them. Though they may not be your run-in-the-mill save the world type, true heroes don’t get too choose.

Their task will not be easy, they must travel across the continent making allies and solving conflicts to bring the aid of the rest of the world. They must also better themselves through harsh battles and grueling quests, collecting crystals and unlocking hidden talents not known before. Each race will be important and each class even more so, for there will be no turning back once this journey has begun and the stakes have become too high to give up. Each individual will have his or her own specific challenges and tribulations however if they can somehow learn to work as a team, they may just be the men and woman this world needs.
