Good morrow, everyone! I am the Vagabond King.

Quite the arrogant title to claim, isn't it?

Oh, but no fanfare heralds my coming. I've no court or castle, no pages or knights. I'm just an exceedingly silly, more-than-a-little-mad wanderer who rather likes the sound of his own voice.

If the title leaves a bad taste in your mouth, I suppose you can get away with just calling me Vagabond. But, understand, it's only for you, and even then only because I like you so much. Yes, you.

Anyway! I stumbled across this delightful little bastion of collaborative storytelling while in a moderately frustrating fit of creative inspiration. Writing is simply no fun if you aren't writing WITH someone. Ah, I'm rambling. Do forgive a madman his raving, yes?

I've had a small amount of experience with roleplaying, I'd say. That is, I've DM'd for several D&D campaigns (primarily 3.5e), as well as written and run campaigns and games for rulesets such as GURPS, Ars Magicka, Zodiac, AFMBE, and a handful of other lesser games.

Okay, so it's a bit more than a 'small' amount. You might say I adore it. You might.

In terms of setting... Well, my bread and butter is medieval/fantasy. There's something innately satisfying to me about making my way through epic, sprawling landscapes dotted with castles and keeps, visiting cities inhabited by serf and lord alike. I'm a storyteller, you see, in character and out. The bard, the skald, a weaver of words. Whether ensnaring the minds and imaginations of kings and queens as a court bard, reciting epic tales in the High Tongue, or entertaining a group of young adventurers as we huddle around a campfire, eking out what warmth we can, I am home.

Oh dear, I'm rambling again. Terribly sorry, I'm not myself this morning. He is.

I ought to do something about that.

Ah! But yes, my dear new friends, I eagerly look forward to sharing many, many stories with you!
