The sound of the charging Orks resonated throughout the wasteland outside of the city as the Imperial Guard took up their positions and prepared to repel the invading Xeno's. Siegfried stood in one of the guard towers and watched the green tide as it prepared to smash against the gates. Explosions could be heard as the Basilisks rained the Emperors holy death down on them. Siegfried saw a hologram of the battlefield. "They will be here soon." he turned to the head Priest. "If you have any words to give the men, i would appreciate it." said the Commissar. the Priest nodded and stepped up to the microphone

"Enemies of the Imperium hear me! you have come here to die, the immortal god emperor is with us and we are invincible! We are the sparks that will light you into a sea of holy fire." said the Priest. the Siegfried pushed him lightly asside as he stepped up to the mic.

"Men, you are outnumbered, but the Emperor has given us the blessings that will make each of us an army in our own right. Those of you who are not die will do so because your faith is not strong enough, if you are faithful enough, then the Emperor will not allow any of us to die! WE WILL WIN FOR THE EMPEROR!!!"

the holy words of praise for the emperor almost drowned out the gutteral roars of the Orks. Siegfried, Krog and Temnil headed down to the walls. Siegfried walked along the wall "I SEE IN ALL OF YOU THE FAITH OF THE EMPEROR! I SEE AN ARMY THAT WILL NOT FOLD TO ANYONE! NOT HERETICS! NOT XENO'S AND NOT TO COWARDICE!!! WE WILL NOT FAULTER! WE WILL NOT FOLD! WE WILL NOT BE DEFEATED! VICTORY!!!"

"DIE!!!!!!!" Yelled Siegfried as he pointed his Storm Bolter over the side of the wall and began to fire.

the Guard all opened fire, Orks and Guardsmen falling every second. With the men fully motivated, Siegfried headed down to gate where the rest of the men were getting ready to charge. the gate began to come down. "We are even more important to our victory!" yelled Siegfried. "Our brothers on the walls will destroy the enemy from there, but we must stop them from reaching the walls!" he yelled at them. "We shall do it in the name of the Emperor!!!" he looked up into the sky to see it almost blacken out as Black Drop Pods began to rain from the heavens Siegfried was annoyed by this, they would come in and take all credit for this victory before saying that the Guard merely got in their way, but he was doing the Emperors work, so it didn't really matter in the grand scheme of things "LOOK TO THE HEAVENS!!! THE EMPERORS HOLY ANGELS OF DEATH ARE WITH US!!! WE CANNOT HOPE TO LOSE!!!" he threw his arm out and pointed at the ork horde as the gate finally fell "CHARGE!!!!" the Guardsmen began to charge headlong at the Orks.

One month before.

A massive ork Rok can be seen entering the gravity well of the planet. Its speed continue to pick up as several large ork ships begin to slip from the warp as well. They begin to descend towards the planet. Note that each ship is painted red as for orks they believe that red itself makes them gain speed. As the ships begin to enter the atmosphere it can become clear to the imperial fleet above that not all are there to engage them. As the Rok begins to descend to the planet BadTeef is within gearing his men up to the crash. "Oi yah gits get to yah places we needz to be redeh for the waaagh!!!" Bafteef kicks his orks around so they move faster as the inevitable crash is coming closer. From space a massive light can be seen as the rok crashes into the planet.

Two weeks after

With most of the defense fleet wiped out by the mass of ork ships in the atmosphere badteefs land forces begin to clamp together ghetto looking vehicles from the crashed Rok. Badteef has his personal Bigmek begin to patch together a large battlewagon for himself and his bigmek. "Aight boys we be movin into tah fightin soon! Gritz boys get ya shootahs primed! You over der! Yes you! Nobz squad getz over e're!" Badteef grabs the head nob over the should and pats him on the back "I wan ya boyz in the first wave! I want you also to get the trucks movin we need to be in the fight!" Badteef bellows a deep "WAAAGGHHHH!" The trucks continue to be built as more ork roks continue to descend and slam into the planet.

1 Week before

The green tide begins its annihilation of anything not orkish and orky as they pillage and slaughter all villages and settlements on their way to the hive city. Badteef watches from his Kustim battlewagon as it moves forward into battle. "Aight boys begin the attack!" Bafteef yells to his underlings as they begin to assault the hive city. A massive bellowing WAAAGH can be heard as badteef rolls his wartruks into battle.

Current time

As the gate fell badteef pulled away to leave his underlings incharge of bringing down the massive hive city. He himself went back to the ork staging area to begin his grand building. He points to his bigmek "I want ya to buildz me a momentum to Gork and mork! Gets amovin! I want me gargantz! and stomapz!" Badteef began his building and noticed the drop pods and growled loudly "WE GOTZ COMPANIE BOYZ ROLL UP DA CANNONS GET DA ZAP GUNS POINTED UPWARDZ WE HAVE SPACEMEHRINES!" With that massive volleys of flak begins to ascend upwards to greet the deathwatch from every ork area across the planet. (There are a lot)

"POINT DA SHOKK ATTACK GUN UP AT DAZ SPACEMEHRINES AN GIVE EM SOME SPLOSIVE SQUIGIES" Magz yelled at his grott assistance and the mek boys while pointing his Burna, which was the main attachment to his bionic arm, up into the the sky. pulling one of his new inventions out he started firing several bolts of green lightning up at the incoming drop pods laughing as they exploded into a bunch of pieces that were sending off little green lightning shoving a grotling in another burst of pure wagh energy was released exploding more drop pods.

Lantus

As the drop pod landed, Lantus emerged, plasma pistol roaring as he fired at a charging group of orks before countering their charge, chainsword roaring as he tore into them. All the while, he checked his HUD, noticing that his drop pod had gotten separated from the other Deathwatch marines. Opening the vox channel, he spoke while jamming his chainsword straight into the chest of an ork, reducing it to chunky bits.

"Brother Lantus reporting. I've been dropped off course. Working my way back to the squad. For the Emperor!"

Lantus finished off the last ork with a plasma shot to the face before he activated his Jump Pack, taking off in a bound and slamming down into the nearest pack of xenos filth, making his way over towards the other Astartes.

"NO PITY!" The Deathwatch marine roared his native chapter's warcry as he slammed down into the ground, crushing a Shoota Boy under his power armored boot as his chainsword became stained with blood.

"NO REMORSE!" Lantus pistol-whipped an ork rushing at him, crushing its skull while jamming his chainsword into the side of another greenskin.

"NO FEAR!" Screamed Lantus as he shoved his plasma pistol into the mouth of the last ork in the bunch and pulled the trigger. With that taken care of, he took off once more, leaping over to his companions.

A large thunder hawk began to descend into the lower atmosphere as it began to come under attack from the ork anti aircraft dakka. Magnus invictus stood immobile in the back on the thunder hawk with his land raider awaiting deployment. The thunder hawk continued to take massive amounts of anti air fire. When entering landing procedures one of the thunder hawks wings had gotten blown off. Quickly thinking Invictus climbed into the back on the land raider and detached it from the thunder hawk. From 15 meters up the land raider detached and plummeted into the ground. Invictus mind melded himself into the machine itself. Taking direct control the techmarine guided the machine from its crash site to the rendezvous point. "This is brother Invictus. My thunder hawk has gown down. All brothers killed in the crash I am taking the holy machine to our rendezvous point. Praise the emperor" The land raider revved its engine and began to run over the orks as it made it way unhindered to its objective point.

Brother-Sargent Dreaz gunned down another ork as he fought his way through the hab block to find his company. The space marine and his squad were hunting some kommandos who were terrorizing the guard line, when they were ambush by said kommandos. Dreaz activated his vox comm "Dreaz here any raiders report," "read you loud and clear sir." came a response "we have regroup at the local temple we are holding there," "very well on my way" the sternguard set off in the direction of the temple keeping an eye out for orks.

Heavy Transport, Destination Carianus III

Cargo, Adepta Sororitas

The heavy Transport cut the atmosphere easily inside several battle sisters, including Sister Superior Lukreshia, battle sister Felicia, and finally sister Repentia Sansara. They jerked back and forth with every hit the ship took. The ship finally landed with a smash in the middle of the orks.

The ramp slowly opened and bolter shots were already firing through the opening sending arcs flying this way and that. As the ramp opened completely and the adepta Sororitas started coming out meltas firing and bolter rounds going this way and that. Lukresha stepped forward firing her bolter pistol rapidly. Somewhere off to the side she heard the eviscerator rev and flesh begin to tear. One of the orks got a tad to close to Lukresha and his head met her power maul causing his skull to look like a deflated balloon.

multiple orks fell as Wallace's Storm Bolter cut them down, a Nob charged him, but his arm was caught by Wallaces Power Claws they began to crush, cutting it's hand off, before the Power Sword took its head. Wallace then felt something hit the back of his head, he turned to see a pair of Orks, one was holding a Grenade in his hand and the other was looking at it, a horrified look on its face, he then noticed the Pin on the floor at Wallaces Feet. "THE OVUR PART YOU GIT! FROW DE OVUR P-" but its sentance was cut short as the grenade exploded in the Orks hands. Wallace covered his eyes with the claw so that the gibs and shrappnel couldn't blind him. He turned around to see a Space Marine smashing his way through the Orks, a Stormboy jumped towards the Space Marine, but was smashed into the ground by Krog's Thunderhammer. a Shoota' Boy opened up with his Heavy Shoota, but was zapped by Tumnil's Soul-strip. the Trio quickly regrouped along with several Kaserkin that were shooting whatever they could. a squad of Nobs Charged them, but turned and started to run as they got close, Wallace turned to see that it was because of the giant Coffin War-machine that was a Dreadnought. it began to fire using it's Assault Cannon, most of the Nobs were cut down.

"We need to force them back." yelled Wallace over the sounds of battle. they then heard the sound of screaming orks as a Lemon Russ came charging through their ranks. Wallace, Krog and Tumnil jumped onto the back of the charging tank. Wallace climbed up to the gun and opened the top. "Get us back to the wall, we need to speak with the Captain of the Deathwatch." he said.

"Aye Captain." replied the driver. the tank began to retreat back towards the wall, driving at Flank Speed, crushing anything that wouldn't get out of the way in time.

Aspiring Captain Zepherius and his retinue's thunderhawk had crash landed in a massive throng of orks, killing the pilot and stunning the occupants, as The three Space Marines came to, there was a lound banging as the Orks began attempting to smash their way in, Brother Champion Alexis stood up and helped Captain Zepherius to his feet, "On your feet Brother Captain, wouldn't be good for Second Company's morale if their aspiring Captain was killed by turbulence" Zepherius nodded,

"Nor death by a horde of green skins" just as he said that, there was a loud bang, as the shoota boyz attempted to shoot open a section of the hull,

"Enough of this waiting, we can recite poetry and say philosophical sayings after we destroy the xenosk scum" Brother Champion Tyriel said as he fitted on his jump pack. The Captain lifted his powersword and pulled out his bolt pistol while Alexis Stimedes loaded Kraken bolts into his bolter.

"Very well, Brother Champion, if you would mind carving a path" Tyriel grinned blood thirstily underneath his battle helm as he revved up his chainsword. Alexis hit the door control, which, by the grace of the Emperor, still worked, and They all spoke a brief prayer to the God Emperor as the door lowered. As soon as the hatch hit the floor Tyriel rushed forward, Chainsword screaming into the throng of orks that were trying to get in. He slew the ones directly in front of him with his sheer bulk as he sprinted at full tilt into them, and as he got to open air he immediately activated his jump pack, the promethium fuel sent him soaring into the air while also incinerating the orks around him, at this instant Alexis opened fire into the crowd, the Kraken bolts having devastating effects, while the Captain rushed forward, the Powersword gleaming with murderous light as it cut down ork after ork, his bolt pistol barking as it sent holy bolts into the craniums of many filthy greenskins, exploding with righteous fury while the headless corpses flailed and piled, tripping their brethern and hampering their movements. It was a glorious fight, and it raged on as more and more greenskins came towards the throng, eager for a good fight
