Appearance:
Ambrose stands at 167cm , being much taller than other elves. His ears themselves are rather long as well, standing at 11cm. His body is lanky, though lined with tight thin muscles from his very physically active lifestyle. His face, much like most elves has sharp angles with long thin eyebrows and nearly no ability to grow facial hair. Unlike most elves though, he holds the trait common of nobles to have very sharp eyebrows lining their prominent brow. Though what is truly unique about Ambrose is not his height, but his albinism which has caused him to be born with hair white as snow, skin and eyes grey as the mountains.

Among the humans, they view him as an incredibly strange looking elf. The dwarfs that he has encountered often take a liking to him once they learn about his relationship with most elves, plus his skin and hair reminds them of the colors of their mountain homes. Among the noble elves, he is seen as an abomination, a disgusting being not worthy of his noble status. Among the common Elves, he is seen as an annoyance due to his natural colors being directly in conflict with the nature they immerse themselves in.

Background:
Born to the noble Claben family, Ambrose was going to be groomed to become a capable leader of the Elven armies. Fate, as it were, had different plans for the newly born child for as he left the womb, his ash grey skin drew the eyes of the entire family. They were disgusted with the creature who in their eyes resembled a troll more than an elf. Especially one with blood as noble as the Claben family. The family who was said to have brought light in the darkest times of Elven history. They named their child Ambrose Daeben, not only stripping him of his family name, but also giving him a family name of 'darkness'. Their way of conveying their disgrace onto the newly born Elf.

Ambrose was reluctantly raised for the first twenty years of his life, ignored by his family as they were desperate to produce a new heir to the noble line which had been tainted by Ambrose's existence. Once he had gained enough knowledge to survive on his own without the helping hand of the loyal servants to the Claben family, he was swiftly asked to leave. Something which he viewed as the best thing he could have ever done in his entire life. Taking what little money he could, he left the haven of the wealthy and attempted to join the lowest caste, assuming at least they would accept him. He had never been more wrong in his entire life. The common Elves turned him away before he could have a chance to voice himself and it was only in the purchasing of equipment that he could find anyone who would be willing to listen to him for more than a few moments. Though those few moments gave him enough information to give him new purpose.

Taking to the fringes of the Digrlauf forests, he found asylum among the desolate marshes. It was close enough to the river that he could easily find clean water, while close enough to the woods that he could hunt. His life became consumed by simple survival for several months, leaving him a seasoned wilderness survivor after many months of life in one of the most unforgiving places in the Digrlauf lands. It wasn't until he spent several years in his isolation that he returned to the nearest outpost in the forests, Dirgaln. The elves among the outpost were not as hostile as Amborse had become accustomed to, though he was very aware of how odd they found him and his strange skin and hair. It was there that his life truly began, that he discovered the path of a Ranger, working for the city to hunt those with bounty, maintain law, and hunt creatures who sought to slaughter Elves. And since that day, nearly seventy years ago, Ambrose has found himself a dedicated Ranger, maintaining law and bringing almost an utter halt to any deaths from the wildlife and monstrosities that plagued the forests. It is from his duty as a Ranger that he has found purpose and from his reputation, among many Common Elves, he has grown beyond their old impressions and earned a great level of respect. Though it is no secret that the nobles would sooner wish him dead than allow him to walk among the innermost regions of Digrlauf.


Personality:
Ambrose is calm and collective, a result from his time removed from society. His patience has grown beyond that of most elves, him being capable of remaining near motionless for hours on end while tracking beasts. In social situations, he has been conditioned to hang back and merely observe, lest he bring attention to himself. And from his experience, most attention is negative attention. He is able to contain his anger, though occasionally it does slip out, often times if he has to get physical with someone/something. Overall he is out of touch with much of society, though he tries to pretend that he still holds on to some of the civility that is commonplace of Elven nobles, having come from a noble family.
