Realistic modern gun fighting

I'm horrible with gun fighting, or at least I think I am because I've never practiced much at all writing it or thinking of any strategies. In other words, I'm a noob for real gun fighting tactics and would like practice against an opponent here. My character will be a citizen with as much knowledge about guns as I do, which is limited. You can have a character however you want as long as he/she is realistic. I don't care if I lose because that's usually where the most lessons are learned, so feel free to give it your all even if you're some military genius. If I get killed in 3 seconds, then we can always just start over (if you want to) and I'll try to learn from my mistakes. This can be a 1 vs 1 or team based if enough people show up. I could use practice in either of them. The plot doesn't really matter here. I'll leave it up to you for how it would fit with your character and my citizen.
