When cat was born January 1st 1992, her mother ad father were still trying to get there life's together. Her mother had been forced to drop out of gymnastics do to her pregnancy and her father trying desperately to get a job. But instead of seeing there daughter as a burden to there life's, they saw her as a blessing. Her father fought harder and quickly joined a police academy shortly after she was born. His reasoning was he wanted to make the world a safer place for his daughter. Which was a common reason for many officers. While going to the police academy he took odd jobs here and there to support his wife and daughter and when he finally became a full fledged police officer a year later, he felt things were going to start looking up.
Things went pretty smoothly from then for a while, and for nine years she lived and grew happily her parents keeping her hidden from the horrors of the world. She went to school made friends and had a very normal life just like any other kid. That is, until November 9 2001. After 9/11 Cat was no longer sheltered from the cruelty of the world. She understood why her father fought so hard to be a police officer, or at least she thought she did. Her father having been a first responder at the twin towers that day had been shocked by what he saw. And two weeks later he moved his family out of new york and to Chicago. He then enlisted in the Military and went threw Marine Officer training.
Her Father spent the next 8 years in Iraq and fought hard every day to bring an end to that war. He led his squad of Marines threw hell and back and whenever he thought he couldn't go on it was his daughter who kept him going. Over those eight years he spent in Iraq, Cat grew up she fell in love got her heart broken and tried her best to excel in school. But what she was truly good at was sports and physical education. When her father returned in 2009 she couldn't have been happier. She went to school her senior year knowing her father was home. And she couldn't have been happier.
After she graduated Cat got a job at a health clinic near her home as a physical instructor. She helped people come up with workout plans to get in shape and keep fit, and she did her best to stay fit as well. Her father even signed up to be a fireman in there neighborhood. She loved her job and she couldn't have been happier with the way her life was going. And after she got her job her father began to take her to the firing range once a month to teach her how to shoot, and keep himself sharp. Every time they walked into the firing range people watched in awe as he pulled out his Marine Force Delta Revolver. It was an award and a symbol of his service. It was a chrome black fifty caliber revolver that chambered eight rounds and could fire just as fast as one could pull the trigger. It was a stellar piece of work and she knew it.
The next few years passed by just the same until in early 2012 one of his old contacts from the military called him with a hectic message.
"Walter Is that you?"
"Yeah It's Me, Tom Is that you? What's the matter you sound terrified what's . . ."
"No Time Walter! Listen to me! If riots break out in Chicago if you see people who seem like they aren't entirely there. Don't go near them. Listen, Whatever you do, stay away from any one who looks like they are sleep walking. There's been a breach at the . . . *click*"
"Tom? Tom! Shit TOM can you here me!"
Just like that the call ended and he had no clue what his friend was talking about. But he stayed weary until one day he received a call that there was a riot and major fires. When he finally responded to the scene he remembered what his friend had been talking about. There were people shambling around the streets some one fire and not seeming to care. The firemen quickly began to douse the flames and try to stop the riot but it was no use. When one of the men Bit him He was quickly patched up and sent home with a minor wound while the rest tended to the riot. By the time he got home he could barely stand and was sweating and shaking terribly. His mother laid him down on the floor and consoled him while Cat called 911. While in the kitchen on hold she heard her mother scream out in terrible pain and shock, and When Cat walked in Her father was hovering over her Chewing on her vocal cords her mother gasping for breaths of air she would not receive. Cat backed away slowly as her father turned to her and began to shamble towards her.
Cat tried to convince him to stand down as she begged pleaded and screamed at him but he kept coming letting out an unearthly moan as he shambled after her. Her father followed her as she scrambled frantically to her fathers room and she grabbed his gun aiming it right for his chest like he had taught her as she screamed out "D-Dad! D-don't m-make me hurt y-you!" And as he kept coming she unloaded a round into his chest sending her and him both flailing backwards to the ground. As she looked up to see if he was dead she screamed out in shock as he continued to claw his way towards her not even fazed. She let out one last scream before finally blowing his brains out the back of his head. With her family dead and the city turning to chaos Cat grabbed her dads gun a few supplies and headed out the door heading towards the country trying to get away from this living hell called Chicago.
