I actually do have a quick question if you don't mind helping me out Sam, just what exactly are the interest check threads?

Welcome to the Guild. The interest checks are where GM's post essentially Sales pitches for RPs they want to run, to garner interest and get players. Typically the creation of threads go in this order: Interest check -> OOC-> IC. So here, you'd want to make an interest check for your RP since most users don't look in the OOC's for new RP's to join.

I do suggest you look this Guide over just to see how we do things in comparison to what you are used to.

They allow you to look at rps that others need a partner or more for, and for you to seek partners.

Thank you very much for the swift answers. Reading up on the guide now, Thanks Lillian. One more quick question, once a thread has been published is there any way to change title? I know you can change it when viewing the actual thread, but I mean for everyone to see.

I think a mod needs to do that

That is something you need a mod for.

Normally the way you'd do such a thing is to report your thread, which sounds scarier than it really is. Simply click on the little triangle icon below your name on the left. In the window that pops up simply explain what you want done and a mod will see to it. In this case you can just tell me what you'd like it changed to, since I'm already here.
