Twenty-three-year-old Serena LeChance has been with [firstname] [lastname] for as long as she can remember - caring for him, cleaning for him, running errands for him, and even returning the love he gave her.
However, there is a problem. [firstname] is a man of conceit and no regard for most people. For this, rumors have been spread, causing him and his "love", Serena, to flee to an abandoned cabin in the middle of nowhere. People come and go to the house to bring Mr. [lastname] papers and to deliver them to his business partners, even though none of his partners dare step foot into the cabin that Serena has dubbed "ROOM" without a prior arrangement with him.
In "ROOM", there are two sides to [firstname]. There is the side where it is just the two of them. He is kind, he is caring and loving, showering Serena with affection, kisses, hugs, tickle-fights, etc., making her feel like she's in the middle of a teenage dream, as if she's the princess. However, there is the side when [firstname]'s business partners and messengers stop by, where he is mean and cruel and demanding, treating the others like scum. Serena isn't ignorant - she knows all of this goes on and she watches it happen, lips tightened and gaze placed somewhere else.
Then, as he gets crueler to his partners and sweeter to Serena, Serena begins to think - why does she stay with him? What if he begins to treat her like he treats his partners? Thinking this through her journals and eavesdropping over his conversations with his partners, she plans her escape.
[firstname] has other plans. He intends on making her stay with him forever.
