Thinking of making a fantasy RP anyone in?

I was thinking of setting up a fantasy RP at the casual level. It will take place in a setting which I have used quite a bit amongst my tabletop RP group and we simply call it "Maxverse" after the name of the first major antagonist my players met. This setting does away with some DnD-esque cliches that irritated me to no end, mostly it did away with the soul and absolute morality.

Intelligence is physically based much like in real life. So using magic to bring someone back mostly involves repairing and restarting the body while hoping that the person hasn't suffered brain damage. A noteworthy exception is the gods but we will get to that in a moment.

The basic setup is that for billions of years the gods were the only thinking creatures around. occasionally a new God came together out of leftover magical energy from the birth of the universe. Each God got its own personal plane of existance and they could detect each other and visit each other. However roughly 750k years ago an anomaly happened. A new plane and God was about to be born but a random burst of magic struck and disrupted its formation, splitting it into countless pieces, These pieces became (mostly) conventional life as we know it.

The mortal life hung out on its own plane unaware of the Gods. The Gods wondered why the new God was so shy and not joining them. Around 350k years ago they got their answer, Shivarr the first intelligent humanoid species had discovered ways of breaching the planar barriers and set forth on an imperialistic quest to claim the other plains of existance for themselves. They learned the hard way that nukes and railguns are no match for pissed-off gods and they were mostly wiped out.
The survivors descened into a dark age and eventually evolved into the species that roam the world today. Most of their knowledge and technology was lost so the present day people have a tech-level similar to 16th-17th century earth.

    The species are

    Humans (Duh )
Elves (Tend to be somewhat shorter lived then humans due to frailty, however their sharper senses compensate.)
Dwarves (Tough and long lived, short stride slows them down)
Orcs (Quite strong, only a bad choice if you like to look fabulous)
Vampires (LIVING CREATURES! pack both night vision and claws but their diet is a tad restricted.)

I will post more details on the gods later. Right now I want people to tell me if they have any interest in this setting and maybe help me brainstorm up an adventure!

Despite the current races having a common ancestor they are still seperate species and cannot produce offspring.

The gods can be split into primary and secondary gods. Primary gods originate from magical energy as described earlier, there are currently 9 of them. Secondary gods however are mortal lifeforms which have managed to gain enough magical power to attract more power and make their own plane of existance, there are currently 5 of them.

Inside a gods plane of existance the laws of physics can be quite different from the ones we know. Gods are unbeatable on their home turf there they have power that is beyond challenge. However they are considerably less powerful when visiting other gods. No mortal creature can actually create a portal capable of moving a God to the material plane.

Mortal creatures with magical power may pull on energy from the Gods, this is considerably easier than pulling on energy from the universe itself. Unfortunately The gods can withold power from people that don't behave the way they want. Additionally when pulling on power from a God it is aspected after the God, magic pulled from the gods has a mental and physical aspect. The Mental aspect allows magic that fits tightly with the Gods personality while the Physical aspect links into what the God routinely shapes in its home Plane.

A more detailed description of individual gods.

    Primary Gods

    Glaceon
    Physical Aspect: Cold
    Mental Aspect: Apathy

Description: Glaceons realm is made of variios kinds of solid substances the most common of which is water-ice along with ammonia-ice. The plane is too cold for ordinary life to live there without serious protection.
Glaceon generallly takes the form of a ice sculpture sculpted in a crude humanoid way out of classical geometric form, Pyramid head, tirangular eyes, spherical shoulders etc. Glaceon generally doesn't care much about what happens to others but has a bit of a soft spot for Vulca though Glaceon denies all such claims.

    Jas
    Physical Aspect: Magic
    Mental Aspect: Curiosity

Description: His Plane is an infinitely large city full of teleporters to get to where one wants to go. Instead of falling normally people and objects fall towards the nearest physical surface allowing anyone to walk almost anywhere.
Jas usually only talks to those who have an appointment. Jas is very interested in learning things and actively dislikes those who waste his time with what he already knows.

    Luna
    Physical Aspect: Death
    Mental Aspect: Peace and tranquility

Description: Luna lives in a Plane which is constrained on the Z-axis. You cannot dig undeground and once you get up to about 10km you hit an invisible wall. It is mostly made up of flat white ground. Some areas are shiny, others are not, some areas have abstract patterns in the ground. There is no day/night cycle and the sky is perpetually covered in silvery clouds.
Luna herself generally takes the form of a albino lady in a white dress. She is generally helpful and polite to visitors but do try not to make too much of a ruckus because she doesn't like ruckus.

    Karnon
    Physical Aspect: Shockwaves
    Mental Aspect: Fun

Description: Karnons realm features explosives and combustable materials everywhere. Rivers of oil, lumps of alkali metals lying around here and there, gunpowder mines. Strangely there are quite a few native lifeforms there that not only live there but thrive.
Karnon usually takes the form of a frozen mushroom cloud that hovers in place. Karnon likes to play all sorts of energetic games but is prone to getting carried away and accidentally blow people up.

    Solar
    Physical Aspect: Light
    Mental Aspect: Pride

Description: Solars realm is a realm that is constantly well lit and full of the fanciest materials, gems, gold, fine silk all of these are common in Solars realm. There are many paved roads and cities with mortals living there, Solar has established some strict heiarchies. (Spelling?)
Solar generally takes the form of an impeccably classically handsome humanoid with glowing eyes and clothing. Solar considers himself superior to any mortal and most of the other gods as well.

    Vulca
    Physical Aspect: Heat
    Mental aspect: Pleasure

Description: Vulcas Plane mostly consists of air and floating volcanic islands. The oddest thing is the way gravity works there. For inanimate objects there is no gravity and they float but lifeforms fall in the direction they imagine "down" to be. It is also constrained on the Z-Axis the constraint is inconsistent depending on location but hitting the top or bottom teleports you to the other side.
Vulca usually takes the form of a brown skinned well endowed human female with candleflames in place of eyes. Vulca likes to take hot baths, make love and other passionate things.

That is not all of them but I am tired now.

That isn't something that can happen in this setting I am afraid. Their power is such a huge part of them that stealing significant amounts of their power would be like stealing Earths gravity! It cannot be done.

A small update poting the details of more Gods.

    Primary Gods

    Decavene
    Physical aspect: Structural Failure
    Mental Aspect: Shyness

Description: Decavene's plane resembles the material one in many ways but everything seems to be slowly falling apart. Adventurers will find to their horror that their own bodies and equipment will slowly start to fall apart as well!
Decavene is very shy so is rarely encountered. Decavene usually appears as a old and battered orc in patchwork robes. Decavene's only real friend is Luna whom he has a secret crush on but is too shy to spit it out.

    Sharia
    Physical Aspect: Vacuum
    Mental Apsect: Creativity

Description: Her Plane is one huge vacuum with no gravity. However a funny property of the plane is that thinking creatures can temporarily create objects by concentrating. The objects vanish once the creature stops concentrating. This plane is obviously rather dangerous to those who are not prepared for it.
Sharia has no preferred form, shifting between forms constantly. She values those with a creative bent and those interested in art and literature.

    Tues
    Physical Aspect: Electricity
    Mental Aspect: Determination

Description: Only the most absurdly tough people dare live in this place. Every night thunderstorms rage, The air is dense and metallic predators lurk but for those who persist the soil is rich and there are plenty of metals to be found.
At 7,4 Billion years old Tues is the most senior of the gods. Tues sits in a throne on top of a 60 km tall mountain known only as "Ultimate Peak" many have attempted to climb it but very few made it to the top. There Tues rewards their determination with a pleasant life. Tues prefers the form of a gigantic mechanical humanoid made out of brass, copper and steel.

    Secondary Gods

    Alleya
    Physical Aspect: Travel
    Mental Aspect: Ambition

Description: Alleya's plane is an enormous 1km thick disk with objects and creatures sticking to the nearest side of the disk. Otherwise it is in many ways similar to the Material plane. Alleya prefers the form of a fair skinned elf woman. She often likes to trade and swap stories with others.

    Heron
    Physical Aspect: War
    Mental Aspect: Honesty

Description: Herons plane is a tough place to live. The climate is cold and the terrain tends to be rocky. There are still a few cities and trading outposts scattered about. Visible from anywhere in the plane is Herons Ultimate Fortress a fort large enough to be a dwarf planet in its own right.
Heron is to put it bluntly the bluntest person you may ever meet. He always says exactly what he thinks without deceit or dressing it up in fancy words. He detests liars and cowards in particular he doesn't get along with either Olan or Solar. He prefers the form of a large white-armoured orc.

    Hilda
    Physical Aspect: Metal
    Mental Aspect: Boredom

Description: Hildas Plane is very unexceptional, rich in metal but otherwise lacking in distinct features. Hilda prefers to look like a perfectly average member of a humanoid race generally dressed in drab brown or grey clothes. She has large collections of various items all collected to stave offf boredom even if only for a little while.

    Olan
    Physical Aspect: Darkness
    Mental Aspect: Deceit

Description: Olans Plane is a place of perpetual night, the planes magic sustains a large variety of plant life though. Most of the life there can disguise itself as something else and/or is poisonous without special treatment. Gravity is only half its normal strength.
Olan rarely appears but when he does it is usually in the form of a empty black robe. Olan doesn't speak much and much of what he says is in the form of unclear riddles and/or lies.

    Reiss
    Physical Aspect: Dragons
    Mental Aspect: Cool

Description: Reiss's plane has both low gravity and thick atmosphere which makes flight easy. Dragons are the dominant lifeform in this plane. Climates are usually temperate or tropical. Reiss usually takes the form of a multi-coloured Imperius dragon. Reiss is the youngest of the gods: only 469 years old.

Done describing the Gods next 2-3 posts will describe the material plane and then serious brainstorming will begin.

Ah forgot that there will have to be a post or two detailing the magic further.

Anyhow the basic set up of the material plane. The Material plane works like our universe in most regards, including the fact that there are star systems and galaxies. Aliens however not a part of the roleplaying that takes place in this setting.

The planet which all the action takes place doesn't have a name yet could you help me out with that?

Either way the main landmasses are three continents. Crymogæa, Hase and Noc. Historically in our world Europe was the most developed continent by quite a margin but I am avoiding having a dominant continent here.

Crymogæa: Lies to the east of Hase, contains four major nations: Vettland, Drekland, Khurnia and the Telac city states. This is by far the best developed continent and the one I have used the most. Telac Lies amongst the mountain range that divides the continent in half but the other nations are outside that area with Khurnia on one side and the other two sharing space on the other side.

Khurnia is ruled by three mage guilds whoe leaders come together to discuss important business. Being a magic user makes you a member of the ruling class.

Vettland is a highly mercantile nation it has plentiful sea presence which it uses to trade with other nations, when threatened they usually hire mercenaries. Lately they haven't been doing that well. Two invasions were thwarted within a decade.

Drekland was once an empire which ruled over most of Crymogæa but that is long past. Now they are a mostly ordinary country albeit with a tougher army then most, they also boast the largest variety of dragon species of any nation.

The Telac cities vie amongst themselves for control of the trade routes that crisscross the mountain range in order to gain a trade monopoly. When threatened by a outside ation however they usually team up to defend themselves and maybe counterattack before going back to their old ways.

Hase is the largest continent and dominates the center of the map. It has 12 powerful nations and quite a few less powerful ones. The most noticable feature of this continent is an enormous crater large enough to hold three whole countries at its bottom. This crater happened 350k years ago and stands as a testament to what happens when you piss off the gods enough. Other than this info I have not developed this continent very much.

Noc is to the west of Hase and is a long, thin continent. The Wutai Empire (Based on feudal japan, natch) owns the majority of the habitable land there and is in the process of conquering what few other nations remain.
