Warhammer 40,000 RP - Tau

In another thread here, I referenced and spoke about a group within the Tau Empire called the "Gue'Vesa" Which referred to the military auxiliaries consisting of humans who have been conquered or willing integrated with the Tau Empires' Fire Caste.

This Idea has bloomed into both and interest in the Tau as a whole and a temptation to do an RP centered around a colourful squadron of varying races from the Tau Empire going on a special mission for the Water/Ethereal Caste.

I will update this with Roughshod Character statistics and weapons board. One such Example is A Gue'vesa equipped with a pulse carbine and emp grenades.

So, Who'd be interested in doing this?

The Tau Fire-Warrior, The Backbone of the Tau Military force. These are your bread and butter fighting force, The Imperial Guardsmen of the Tau Empire. You wield few weapons in comparison to the imperial guard but you will make up your disadvantage with the advantage of greater accuracy and advanced Technology

You may select One of the following weapons:

Pulse Rifle
Pulse Carbine
Close-Combat Weapon (All have One by default)

You may also select one of the following pieces of Equipment:

Marker Light
Shield-Drone
Gun Drone (Which carries a Pulse Rifle as well)
Searchlight
Photon Grenades
EMP Grenade

You are the Shadow in the forest, the quiet patter of feet in the empty halls. You and your brothers and sisters of the Pathfinders are the Long distance stealth operatives of the Tau Empire, going miles aheads of your allies to search the ground and search. You wield few weapons like the Fire-warrior but your stealth and skills with your weapons mar that of your alies.
You may elect to take one of the following weapons:

Rail Rifle
Pulse carbine

You also elect to take one of the following Equipment:

Markerlight
Camo-cloak
Photon Grenades
EMP Grenades

Kroot. The Mercenaries of the Tau Empire which follow an honour code and work for the Tau as a Auxiliaries. The Deadly fighters of the Tau Empire who are far stronger than their Tau masters. They are given near the same respect for their survivability and self-sufficieny. Though they are cannibalistic, This has given them a great advantage for when they consume the flesh, they inherit attributes of the consumed race.
You may select one of the following weapons:

Kroot Rifle [Equivalent of Bolt-gun]
Pulse Carbine
Close Combat weapon (You have by default, this represents you opting for a second)

You may select one of the following weapons:

Camo-cloaks
EMP Grenades
Photon Grenades

Gue'vesa, Human Helper in Tau. You are the Human Auxiliaries of the Tau Empire. Surrendered or Willingly integrated into the tau empire, You fight as you did with the Imperial guard without the ever-watchful eyes of the Commisariat. You are a Fire-warrior but you wield the weapons you would of in the guard. Stronger than your Tau counterparts but also less accurate. You are restricted in your accuracy but your weapons are as wide as the many regiments you can find in the guard. Your faith may go unchallenged if bereft of the xenophobia.

Long-las
Pulse Rifle
Pulse Carbine
Flamer
Plasma-gun
Melta-gun
Grenade Launcer
Bolt-gun

You may also choose of the following pieces of equipment:

Name: Gue'vesa'ui Van'tre Mara Aliel (Human Helper Veteran of the planet Van'tre, Mara Aliel, If anyones curious)
Race: Human
Description: Mara Aliel is a relatively short human woman who bears a lost eye which was replaced by a Tau Equivalent of cybernetics. Her Mid-long black hear hides her damaged ear. She wears laregely a human variantion of the classic tau armour but with the symbols of a vetaran.

Class: Gue'vesa
Background: Born on the world of Van'tre in the Damocles. Her World Openly accepted the Tau Empires offer of Joining them, citing the oppressive heel of not only the Beaurocracy but the tithes which would have eventually bled Van'tre dry.
Weapons: Pulse Rifle
Equipment: Marker Light
Personality: A Reserved, but open when pushed for it, woman Mara has long been a militaristic, Her family quite similair. She held respect for chain of command and believed that while the Imperium was not a wholly evil Instituiton, the Fact that the xenophobia and paranoia of technolgy has left them slowly decaying, she has come to believe that it needs saying. She has long held that if the emperor saw fit to destroy the Tau, he would of long since guided the Imprium to do so.
She has fought as one of the auxiliaries against Imperial and Orc incursions. Though her beliefs on the imperium are considered heretical, She doesnt believe she is betraying her faith in the god-emperor.

thing is, players would need to be knowledgeable of the WH 40k universe before becoming interested, so it kinda limits the RP in that manner.

who knows someone could become interested and I'd be able to help them get into it...

Oh, mercy, such an interesting idea, but unfortunately, it is as stated. The Human auxilary within the Tau Empire is such an unknown variant. It is hard enough to find WH 40K writers upon this site, even harder to find in advanced, and near impossible with such a specific subject of interest. (
